"Bluesky is dying" bro you're talking about a website full of 38 year olds who have fringe political beliefs and listen to black metal bands with >1000 listeners on spotify, nobody here cares about popularity

Did you know that 19 years after the last Labour government left office, 45p in every £ of Inverclyde’s council tax is *still* paying off Labour’s PFI/PPE bills? Scotland is still paying the price for Scottish Labour’s last government. Let’s not repeat that mistake. #Scotland #SNP1SGP2

A billionaire can get what they want with one donation to a political party. The rest of us must fight for years to get even the most basic rights recognised. Money destroys democracy, more than any other cause. The first step towards a better world is to stop the rich buying political outcomes.

McGowan: You're saying 46 Americans died, so we should attack this country. Here at home, 68,000 Americans die a year because they don't have health insurance. So, if we're going to spend billions of dollars on something…

Seeing the SFRS firefighter on this platform at Glasgow Central tonight, reminds me of how dangerous their job is. Next time they’re out on the streets fighting for decent pay, conditions and appropriate staffing, we’d all do well to remember what they’re expected to do and back them 100%.

Thank F they beat ref*rm…restores faith in humanity 🎉

Holy crap. I watched a bit of the @greenelects.world livestream last night and the wildly optimistic person on the panel reckoned they were going to get 40%. This is an astonishing result, and absolutely catastrophic for Labour, who won 50.8% of the vote in 2024, on very nearly the same turnout.😮

The basic issue is extreme inequality. Obscene levels of wealth for a few juxtaposed onto widespread poverty and deprivation. We are heading for societal collapse unless addressing this becomes a political priority www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

Was using manipulatives with S2 this morning, and a few hours later I noticed the back of the tray still had a label on from when it was used to store little gaming figures for painting 🤣 No one said anything, wonder what this says about my classroom that they just accepted it? 🤔🤣🤣🤣

Buddy, hope left the building, went to lunch, had 4 margaritas and a bloody mary, got into a fight with the server, was tossed through a window, severed an artery, had its leg amputated, spent three nights in ICU, got divorced, defaulted on the mortgage, and is living in a van down by the river

Asked about the possibility of impeachment, Schumer says "we hope that we can have support from our Republican colleagues to put a brake on this long before it gets that far"

One third of children in the UK are living in poverty and we have had a day with the media obsessing about rich farmers who want to keep their millions tax free. Who is orchestrating this utterly bizarre news agenda, and why?

What the UK needs is massive change. End Brexit. End the House of Lords. Tax the rich. Renationalise all the essentials, Water, Power, Rail, Mail. And change it so they can't be privatised again without a Referendum.

Memory from 4 years ago 🤣🤣 “We have this picture in our kitchen which came with the house, it’s a farm near Dundee where the wood for the roof beams came from...anyway, Robert’s weeks of patience have paid off when the girls finally noticed his adaptation 😂😂”
