All I can think.of is how much I empathize with Evelyn in Everything Every Where all at Once. I can't imagine that.there is a worse life outcome for me than where I am at. Maybe my vision board is in the attic Dorian Gray style.

OMG. If one more person tells me that friends or clubs will fill the gaping void left by my former romantic partner I am going to scream. Friends do not fill the intimacy void. To tell me they do is f*cking insanity.

Do you know how much energy small talk takes? Do you know how hard it is to always answer people's questions with no? Are you married? Do you have a partner? Do you have kids? No, no, and no.

Today was your birthday. It took all my will power not to call or text or drop off a gift. This time last year we were celebrating your 50th. I want so badly to ask your sister how you are doing, but I won't. She likely wouldn't know any how. The songs about heart break make sense to me now.

You made my commute take longer because you adjusted the blue line by a couple minutes and now taking the 7 from 34th and 51st misses the train as it arrives the same time as the train. Still in sitting on the train. I should have been at my desk 20 min ago. Unbelievable.

And then you decided to run trst trains during work hours today delaying the next train. So instead of waitin the cold for 12 minutes it was 17 minutes. Unbelievable.

My neighbor poorly served by transit with the 7 running 2x an hour. What neighborhood adjacent to thr train has this level of service? I'm furious.
