So if Musk truly cares about the lives of Russian soldiers, America must break the Russian necronomy’s ability to fuel this bloody war. But the Trump administration has done exactly the opposite. America has begun to finance it.

For them, signing a contract with the Russian army is often the only realistic path to social advancement, because it lets them earn the kind of money they could only have dreamed of in their impoverished home regions.

The families of Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine are perfectly satisfied. They receive sums of money that their husbands or sons could never have earned, even if they had worked for the rest of their lives.

Their salaries are funded in part by the extra money Putin is receiving as a result of Trump’s recent decisions to waive some of the sanctions on Russia. And now, something very important.

Russia pretends to be “great,” yet it is a very poor country. Its entire economy is comparable in size to that of the U.S. state of Texas. Millions of Russians live in economically depressed regions.

They come up with new explanations every day 🤦‍♀️ And it is still unknown who ordered the suspension of Starlink in Ukraine and left civilians defenseless against Russian drones.

Last night, Putin “the humanitarian” attacked Kyiv once again. Presumably to confirm Trump's words from yesterday that "we are closer to peace than ever." And I want to draw attention to one important point.

There is no legitimate reason to use such a weapon against civilians. Nor is there any military necessity. The Russians did it simply because they could. Photo Yan Dobronosov

Russia struck the historic center of Kyiv with an Iskander ballistic missile carrying a K5 cluster warhead. This warhead is designed specifically to inflict maximum damage on people and equipment across an area of 400 by 400 meters.

I have read dozens of outraged posts because the US special envoy Witkoff called Putin a "humanist." But no one is writing about the fact that the American negotiators are simply not doing their job. Let me explain.

I don’t know if anyone will remember the names of Witkoff and Kushner. But history will certainly record how American negotiators, who had the opportunity to save a huge number of people, refused to raise uncomfortable questions before "humanist Putin."

Thousands of people are already eating grass to survive and begging to save their lives. The Ukrainian side raises the issue of Oleshky at every meeting. And I can name dozens of such urgent humanitarian issues off the top of my head where American negotiators must be proactive.

The Pope calls on Putin to save thousands of people from starvation in occupied Oleshky and the surrounding villages. The UN speaks about a humanitarian catastrophe and asks Russia to allow the evacuation of the civilian population.

Peace negotiations are important in their own right. Even if they do not lead to a lasting peace, the process itself is an opportunity to resolve urgent humanitarian issues. If, of course, the human dimension is a priority for the negotiators.

In this stroller, there is now nothing but a bloody pulp. This is all that remains of the baby after today’s Russian shelling of a park in the Kharkiv region. #MadeByPutin #FinancedByTrump

The author of the tweet below is the Russian special envoy who repeatedly met with Kushner and Witkoff to discuss the peace deal. Yes, things have changed. Trump openly supports Putin and funds a genocidal war against the people in Ukraine who are fighting for their freedom.

Putin wants a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine's fate, according to the Wall Street Journal. A future for Ukraine decided without Ukrainians is inadmissible 🇺🇦 Great powers acting through might put all of us at risk ⚡️

As a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, I want to address the people of America, regardless of their political views. Do you really believe that the killing of millions of people and the loss of Ukraine's independence are in your national interest?

Putin cannot win on the battlefield, so he attacks civilians. Russian missiles and drones are destroying homes, hospitals, schools, and churches. According to the UN, just two weeks of October have been among the deadliest for civilians in Ukraine in recent years.

Forty percent of Russia's budget goes to the war. After Trump's latest decisions, Russia will make record profits. The formula is simple: "Money turns into missiles. Missiles turn into civilian deaths." Trump is not stopping Russia's war against Ukraine. Trump is helping Putin win it.

He went against the last request of Lindsey Graham, whom he called his friend. And he handed Putin the opportunity to finance the war against Ukrainians, who are fighting for their freedom.

Trump calls this a "national interest." But diesel prices went up because of his war against Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. So waiving sanctions on Russia does not solve that problem. Instead, it creates another one.

"Trump’s first year of negotiations" has become the deadliest period for civilians in Ukraine since the first year of the full-scale Russian invasion, according to UN data. The number of killed and wounded has surged 31 percent higher than in 2024.

Ukrainian soldiers and people associated with the military are reporting restrictions on Starlink service. Likely on the direct orders of Elon Musk. Despite the fact that Ukraine pays him for these services.

Starlink is also used by the interceptors that protect Ukrainian cities from Russian jet-powered Shaheds. Without that protection, Russian drones will strike residential buildings, hospitals, and schools like targets in a shooting gallery.
