As a former teacher, I never scrubbed in for a gender reassignment surgery, but I did instruct the kids on how to get the window screens off in case of an active shooter…

Every night I say goodnight to my dog, unsure of what I will find in the morning. And every morning I can see she’s still breathing. She’s still here, but breathing is hard for her as is doing too much walking. I know she’s not going to make it to her birthday next month.

Do you remember the story about how God upended the creation of the Tower of Babel by making it so people were not speaking the same language? We are still not speaking the same language even when we both speak English. I think God needs to destroy whatever monument the Usurper is trying to build.

"He's gonna fix it. Believe in him ... all the abortion, it's evil ... I want to see 2 people -- Trump & Jesus...we do not want Muslims taking over...I have horrible thoughts. I don't think they should be here. This isn't their country...they need to pack up & go back where they came from."

When I was in the 6th grade, all 3 classes on my team did a Jeopardy quiz event. I ended up knowing a lot of the answers, so I was excited at knowing stuff. I loved that Tic-Tac-Dough show, and wanted to be on the Children’s Week Tournament. I knew all the answers! 1/2

And then they asked a question about an African American singer who was blind and played piano—I knew it was Ray Charles before they even gave the 4 options! The girl picked Stevie Wonder and was RIGHT! That is how I learned that Stevie Wonder was blind, played keyboards…and was black? possibly. 2/2

Over and over, ICE has shot people and then lied about what happened. We can see the lies with our own eyes. We will demand truth, transparency and accountability.

Make everyone show ID, THAT’LL make our elections secure says anyone who never used a fake ID to get into a bar…or maybe anyone who HAS used a fake ID.

What? You don’t want to provide an iris scan and have it in a database? If you’re not breaking the law what do you have to hide? You must be a criminal! Of COURSE GOP senators don’t have to provide a scan— that’s a violation of privacy! And everyone knows it’s just dumocrats who are evil!

Make everyone show ID, THAT’LL make our elections secure says anyone who never used a fake ID to get into a bar…or maybe anyone who HAS used a fake ID.

to cut costs, we will just cut out all the people who have done temporary election work for years, and we will make it all automated…if the machine rejects your iris scan, which it shouldn’t, since those are perfect, you’ll just have to come to the ROV office.

Sorry, no, the only way we can make sure that you, the person who registered to vote, is actually the person voting is if you provide an iris scan when you registered to vote and we will have an iris scanner at each election center.

We can use AI facial ID to make sure the person voting is the correct voter!!! That’s never gone wrong. Nope, guess we will just need to use fingerprint scanners, since it has worked so well for some of us on our phones.

We can see the shadow is not in the right place, and apparently the original photo is from 2020, but that makes the photoshopped statement more punchy, IMO.

Just a reminder: leaked Russian documents showed that the their influence campaign aimed at achieving victory in Germany through a "convergence of the extremities" between the Neo Nazi AfD and the vaguely leftist Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht—both funded and supported by the Kremlin.

So first you need to know that I don’t wake up and post on facebook for my own enjoyment, I do it because some people are dangerous, and I don’t want their asininity to be the only thing that regular people see.

Food companies wanted deregulation. Now there are dozens of recalls across the country. Mining companies wanted deregulation. Now the black lung rate is at a 45-year high. Financial companies wanted deregulation. Now financial losses to fraud are the highest on record. Noticing a pattern?

Why isn’t Brian Thompson’s alleged killer on administrative leave like the man who allegedly shot and killed Kohen Wiley? Why did the woman who allegedly quoted United Healthcare’s own policy to a phone representative spend more time in jail than an alleged baby killer?

Darn, I wrote this and I’m confused two days later. Brian Thompson’s alleged killer is Luigi Mangione. Kohen Wiley’s alleged killer is a name I can’t discover easily. He has not been arrested. Thompson was 50, Wiley was 1.

I am a half-Jack of some trades, master of none, which makes me the perfect person to correct some of your grammar & spelling mistakes even as I continue to make some; we’re all human.

I found this mailer in a bag I brought from my former domicile. It was sent to a young trans person who may have registered non-partisan. This was a general election mailer from 2 years ago. I should probably share the back of it too.

WHOA!! Rep. Zach Nunn (R-IA) just STRUCK a person asking him a simple question about rural hospital closures. Reporter: Do you still think rural hospital closures are a myth? Nunn: I said I'm with a constituent. You should protect their privacy! *SMACK*

The Law of Ponytail Holders states that they are only visible to you when you aren’t looking for one to put up your hair, but you will see them living their lives on floors, parking lots, and even your pockets. Generally, once you need one, you will never find them in those places. #ponytailholders

Look, I don’t need a TL;DR. If you write clearly enough & your story is interesting, I’ll keep reading. If I cannot parse it or find myself bored, I’ll quit. TL;DRs are for people who aren’t nosy enough to keep on going!

A proposed rule fueled by Trump’s conspiracy theories would require the USPS to keep a list of voters it believes should be allowed to vote by mail—and give them the power to hold those ballots hostage. Urge them to say NO and help protect voting by mail: act.standupamerica.com/letters/cte-...

Last day of teaching Vacation Bible School music class— i’ve had a hard time this year for whatever reason, I think in part because I’ve been coughing for a month. Every day I find myself thinking, not today, Satan, not today! You are not getting me to tell someone to fuck off today!
