Nathan Fielder is a masterful filmmaker and brilliant tactician. From the start of You Can See Everything, you question her judgement for participating in the project, because Ivy Holmes comes across as a real piece of shit.

I ran into an issue with OGraf today-some templates that I created and used last month on macOS 26 with DaVinci Resolve 21.0 no longer render correctly on macOS 27 and Resolve 21.1. Shadows look blocky.

I wonder if this is something in Resolve's handling of OGraf, or the embedded Chrome instance in macOS? Or an issue with my GPU? Lesson learned here- OGraf not yet reliable for long term persistence of graphics in Resolve.

Also I need to develop a better workflow for tracking and preserving the specific template code that was used with an export. I want to be able to reuse the templates across projects but also be able to modify and change as necessary.

If you saw our shorts on Instagram or YouTube, now you can watch them in widescreen format! Stories about Dan O'Conor (the Great Lake Jumper), wrestler Shaq Jordan, Pam the bartender, and more!

OGraf in DaVinci Resolve 21 is a game changer for me. I can build the title templates I have in my mind with the HTML and CSS skills I already have. And they’re responsive when changing aspect ratios, unlike half of the Fusion template I use.

I want to thank the school drama teacher for telling the audience before the play began that it would be less than an hour in length. Giving us parents the info we need.

When I got back from a short spring break trip my phone started switching to “work” focus mode every time I came home, which I guess is accurate insofar as I work from home. But it feels like an attack.

As a service member, I’m disgusted and heartbroken by the attacks on Venezuela. War for oil. Distraction from the Epstein files. Innocent people continue to pay the price under this regime.

There was an Electrify America station just down the road from our hotel in Clarion PA, but it still meant I had to walk 10 minutes in the snow when I’d rather be eating breakfast

When I ride my bike around the city I love to watch the skyline. It’s something that I’ve wanted to film for a long time. But it’s always been pretty shaky when I’ve tried So today I’m going to try mount this vibration isolator from Proaim onto the front rack of my bike to try to smooth things out.

I ran into a guy at the playground that I know from a documentary project I was working on a year ago. He said “oh you’re the filmmaker.” I don’t often feel like that describes me, but it’s nice that people put in the world think of me that way.

I'm working on a small video editing app, and one of my goals is to improve on the nits I have with file handling in other video editing apps. For example, exporting a new version of the video should rename the previous file rather than add a number to the end of the new file name. #buildinpublic

Decided today to stop tweaking features in the app and start getting it ready for at least some beta testing. Glad I did, because solving the build issues with the production version is taking a lot longer than I expected. #buildinpublic

I get it. You’re a jackhammer operator. Every day you’re tearing up broken ass pieces of concrete, sidewalks no one cares about. It gets you down. Then one day you come across this beautiful piece of asphalt. No cracks. Perfectly crowned. And you get to just go at it. The work is its own reward.

CDOT just finished repaving the street and replacement sidewalks and water management is out here today tearing it up again.
