I think the bar wasn't lowered, art made by people has always been precious, it's just that now it is way easier to recognize that. And to clarify, even if it's the distaste you feel towards genAI that drives you to make art, that is still a win for you and for us, because you are now making art!!!

Concerning trend I see online is using social justice language as a mask when talking about issues that at their core are interpersonal conflict. There is nothing wrong with feeling anger, envy, or hurt towards someone, but we need to talk about this in private with our support circles.
