Forgot to post food pics from my neighborhood sports bar on Thursday. Not having any social media on the new phone, except Bluesky & arguably Discord, is breaking my old habits. Here's a chicken sandwich & wings you all didn't really miss. Great food at the new Jokers in Lackawanna & awesome staff.

Grabbed dinner from my local brewery/Hawaiian BBQ. Pig and poke platter from Hanai Hawaiian BBQ. Washed down with a 1789 E.S.B. from Buffalo Brewing

Authorities seized an entire Musk of ketamine

Decided on local sushi for lunch. A little place in a nearby plaza named Ichiban sushi. Soft shell crab roll and sea monster roll with a decorative plastic bonsai tree. Good meal as always.

Surprised twice today, once by my testing GPU still working, and once by discovering i've had it for 19 years 😯 I guess that was $300 well spent.

This is so cool! The paper nautilus, or argonaut, is one of the strangest little weirdos in the ocean. I knew how odd they were, but the incredible dedication and meticulous observation it took for Jeanne Villepreux-Power to figure them out is new to me!

Had a great surprise last night great french onion soup at my local sports bar Joker's in Lackawanna, Ny

Hot day of 32°C. An ice cream stand about 3 minutes walking distance from my home. Time to break out the beer coozie to slow the melting of the soft serve.

Skipped lunch to grab a special at my neighborhood brewery two pulled pork sandwiches and two mac and cheese with two craft beers for a very reasonable price of $30 to celebrate their addition of Wednesday hours.

The old saying was roughly "sci-fi predicts everything possible, so it's going to get things right now and then" I just really wish it wasn't the bad stuff we were warned against that it got right more often than not recently.

Checked out the new BBQ offering at Buffalo brewing on Myrtle. Outstanding, great selection of sauces. I went with a birch beer hot honey sauce. Great beers to wash it all down as well.

Snow cleared out of the path to warm filling food at a local Alehouse

A little snow and a front entrance under construction was not enough to stop me from grabbing a late lunch of fried haddock at Ebenezer ale house

The plows found my street and left a meter and half wall of ice and snow counting the months till I won't be worried about that kind of thing
