European. Get Britain back in the EU. Fascists have no place in society. Blocked by some AI slop jockey who can't take criticism of a flash in the pan. Presumably because he's dating his chatbot.

Minor point but I really hate this performative “y’all” people do to try and appear more folksy. I don’t type in a Yorkshire accent and I did people would rightly tell me to shut up.

Genuine questions to people wanting to vote for him. How many lies will it take until enough is enough for you? How many egregiously false statements does he need to make for you to realise who he is? Where is your outrage for his lies, considering all the vitriol towards the press/government?

Listening to the latest Boards of Canada album, Inferno; nothing truly groundbreaking compared to earlier releases (IMHO) but a fantastic experience nonetheless. Hopefully it won't be another 13 years until their next release.

Felt like such a privilege to be able to witness Artemis II break the record for being the furthest manned craft from Earth in human history. Hopefully, it's a record that's broken many times over in the years to come.

Verstappen fans whining louder than a turbo about the new regulations of #F1 is getting increasingly more tedious by the day. Amazing how they had no issues with the regulations when he was the only one winning races, following a large budget overspend and a team-mate not allowed to challenge him.

Pointless F1 stat of the day: Kimi Antonelli becomes the youngest multiple race winner in #F1 history at 19 years, 7 months and 4 days; surpassing Max Verstappen, who won his second race aged 20 years and 1 day (Malaysia 2017, 1st October 2017).

Verstappen refused to speak to ANY journalist until one from The Guardian left the RB conference. He is well within his right to refuse to answer questions from that journalist but to act in such a petulant manner is unbecoming of #f1, the drivers and the teams.

Red Bull will let him act with impunity, as they are terrified of him leaving to a rival, or retiring. The FIA have let him get away with far too much to appease the Dutch money and attention he brings in, positive or negative. FOM don't care as they just want clicks and more eyes on the sport.

However, allowing him to dictate who asks questions and refusing to speak until they are not there is a step or two away from having a "pre-approved" set of questions and there should absolutely be sanctions upon him for failing to adhere to his contractual clauses. To defend this action is insane.

Being asked multiple times about intentionally driving your car into another driver, I'm sure is annoying. "I've answered everything on that and will not entertain any further questions" is an actual adult way to deal with them. He still shows that his apple hasn't fallen far from Jos' tree.

Verstappen complaining again about the regs and how he said this back in 2023. Because someone winning everything definitely wouldn't lobby for things to remain in his favour, would he? Also, whining that anyone who disagrees with him "has no idea about racing" is typical dummy out of pram stuff.

Fact of the matter is that there has been much closer racing up and down the grid than in a very long time. The regs are brand new and show a lot of potential for very close racing once other teams have caught up to Mercedes' engine advantage. Max needs to worry more about his starts than #f1 regs.

Some F1 stats regarding Aston Martin-Honda's finish way off the lead lap: Prior to today, Takuma Sato was the most recent driver to finish a race 15 laps behind the winner at the 2006 Turkish Grand Prix; Sato, in the Super Aguri-Honda SA06B, took the chequered flag 17 laps behind Felipe Massa.

and last but by no means least (well, in terms of overall gap anyway): Skip Barber in his March-Ford 711 for Gene Mason Racing at the 1972 Canadian Grand Prix at Mosport Park, finishing a whopping 56 laps behind Jackie Stewart and only managing to complete 24 of the 80 regulation laps!

The driver to most recently finish a double-figures number of laps behind the race winner was Daniel Ricciardo in the HRT-Cosworth F111 at the 2011 Italian Grand Prix, finishing 14 laps behind race winner Sebastian Vettel. They both would have had some way to go to beat the largest gaps, these are:

Facebook deleted a week ago and Instagram deactivated apart from my account dedicated to my music production. I've had a few pangs to see what was happening since then but other than that, a completely clean cut from most social media seems to have gone fairly well.

So the "free speech absolutist" Elon Musk has blocked videos of JD Vance being booed at the Winter Olympics. After this and people being banned from entering the US for posts, I don't want to hear another thing about how the US has "more free speech" than the UK again. Absolute joke of a country.

At this point, I hope that Trump lives long enough to see the full consequences for his actions in edging the world closer to doomsday, in the sense of living a long time in prison for treason, money forfeit, etc., and that the world comes out the other side more together than we were previously.
