Back In July, I opposed DOJ’s motion to dismiss my derivative action on behalf of the United States. No decision yet. Here’s the table of contents, which serves as a summary:

The claims I allege for the United States include breach of fiduciary duty to the United States, aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty to the United States, and legal malpractice by Bondi and Pirro in representing the United States.

Don’t know when or where this happened, but can’t stop watching Grampa Preznit seek the wide-open spaces while the Secret Service adjusts the perimeter on the fly and reminds him that the Beast is his car.

Trump constantly made fun of Joe Biden's mental health, but karma has a way of evening the score. Watch as Trump walks past the "Beast' his transport vehicle. The Secret Service actually has to run to catch up with him and bring him back. What goes around comes around😎

General counsels ought to wake up to the perils of aiding-and-abetting liability.

Courageous stuff here. Real leadership. www.ft.com/content/5862... US business leaders are waking up to the perils of plutopopulism

I’m not sure the bar will accept this distinction between “legal analysis” and “legal advice.”

Wow -- Hannity is moving in for the kill: "Why not just say 'I went to Pepperdine Law School and then took a different career path'? Why get into this long drawn-out thing about the difference between a lawyer and an attorney?"

Tre45on is worrying that the Nobel Peace Prize might be awarded, in a few hours, not to him, but to the people of the City of Minneapolis or of the State of Minnesota.

Lying to incite hatred and potentially violence against an ethnic group is neither Conservative nor Liberal. But it is filthy, reckless, illegal, and an anti-American perversion of our White House.

To TRO or not to TRO? That is the tell. The real question here is whether the DNC thinks that these Trump ads help Democrats. If yes—if the ads help Democrats—then the DNC won’t seek a temporary restraining order. If no, then TRO. We’ll find out soon enough.

🚨BREAKING: Democrats sued the Trump administration Wednesday for using taxpayer money on campaign-style television ads promoting President Donald Trump. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

Correlation? Or causation?

Trump says that he’s going to start paying for those propaganda ads with his super PAC money but no word on whether he’ll reimburse the government for the millions already spent.

This ads-with-our-dollars move is tailor-made for a derivative claim. I’m willing to be the derivative plaintiff, o/b/o U.S. But I’ve lost track of how many cases I’ve brought pro se, on my own dollar. Is anyone willing to represent me pro bono? Or do I have to do this again all by myself?

Bill Addis@paidprotester.bsky.social

www.cnn.com/2026/10/02/p... It's far worse than we thought. CNN is reporting that Trump has made at least 13 ads paid for by the public. Unclear as to whether they'll be broadcast or just used online. Theft of public funds is theft. Propaganda is not a PSA. #Trump #ads #taxpayerfunds

The SCOTUS order granting cert in DHS v. DVD is notable for its long list of questions presented—including a fourth (!) Q that basically says to DOJ, “Ask any other questions you want.” Does the Court think there are other issues in the case that DOJ didn‘t pick up on, but will soon? Odd.

Love Daniel Dale & his work, but this piece is very frustrating. There's nothing in here about *why* Trump behaves the way he does, what it says about his psyche or his personality, how it ought to inform the way reporters or voters should deal with him. It's just, "gosh, he lies a lot!"

TRUMP'S TOP 10 9/11 LIES Trump has lied incessantly about 9/11 over the years, above all glorifying himself. We shouldn't let his lies obscure the truth, or desecrate the day. And so, on Sept 10, here's a list of his top 10 9/11 lies over the years. 1/12 www.randomlengthsnews.com/archives/202...

Folks are asking what Judge Chutkan can do to enforce her order halting Trump’s arch. Well, my case is also before Judge Chutkan. Perhaps she’ll soon hold that citizen-taxpayers have standing to sue federal officials derivatively on behalf of the United States. And their aiders and abettors too.

Here’s the TOC for my opposition to DOJ’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit against Trump, Bondi, and Pirro. Suing them, derivatively o/b/o the United States, for breach of fiduciary duty, legal malpractice, aiding & abetting. Motion is fully briefed. The District Court could rule any day now.

An AUSA appeared for Trump, Bondi, and Pirro. So I‘ve moved to disqualify DOJ from defending them against claims that I’m bringing derivatively, on behalf of the United States.

Sunday night I file a legal-malpractice claim against Pirro about the Powell “investigation.” Five days later, Pirro purports to say that the Powell “investigation” is (supposedly) referred to another office. Correlation? Or causation?

What are the chances that, while visiting New York, King Charles will commemorate the anniversary of the inauguration of George Washington on April 30, 1789?

Is this rapist talk? “The hard part is done. So it should be easy, and… when this conflict is over, the Strait will open up naturally. It’ll just open up naturally. They’re going to want to be able to sell oil because that’s all they have to try and rebuild. It will resume the flowing…”

SCOTUS just announced three opinion days, all at once. Don‘t think I’ve seen that before. It’s as though there was a conference today. “The Court may announce opinions on Friday, February 20, Tuesday, February 24, and Wednesday, February 25.”

Oh, so federal courthouses are under the capo’s “protection”?

Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com

Holy shit. I had to read this 3X. But buried in this word salad is the following: Trump’s threatening to deploy ICE, Border Patrol, and the military against protests, while blaming “poorly run” Democratic cities. He says local officials must ask nicely for help, but also claims… 1/2

Feels like USAO-SDNY must have been finger-tapping these boxes for a while—and eventually said something like, “Well, Main Justice, if you’re not going to produce them soon, as the law requires, then we will.” Which finally got someone’s attention.

Over a million more potential Epstein documents have been handed over to the Department of Justice for review and possible release, the DOJ said Wednesday.
