In addition to the ID theft crap, my hot water heater doesn't seem to make as much hot water lately. Also a bag of red potatoes in my pantry got a bad one in it and leaked rotten potato juice through the shelves. Good thing I've got mint choco chip ice cream in the ice cream maker right now!

I use the York Peppermint Patty chips with no mint extract, but sometimes I go wild and use semisweet chips with .25 tsp with peppermint extract. It doesn't get rock hard in the freezer and stays scoopable.

Or you can just leave out the mint and make regular CC ice cream. Sometimes I add drained Oregon Dark Sweet Cherries. oregonfruit.com/products/can... That turns the ice cream a delightful pink! For chocolate covered cherries you can then add the chips.

Good grief! Someone, somehow, paid themselves $400 through ##PayPal. PP says it was an approved "friends and family" payment and it matches my activity. WTF! I'm trying to close my PP acct, but it won't let me apparently until that amount is withdrawn from my bank.

I knew I hadn't purchased anything recently so I denied it. But NEVER any contact about the $400. Yeah, I think my ID was stolen somehow. I also had a fradulent purchase from #Amazon the other day, but I caught that before it hit my credit card. There is no connection between either account.

Has anyone ever played #Mahhongg -- not the phone game variety -- with original tiles. I inherited a set from my mom. She and her friends used to play all the time when I was a kid. There's only one set of rule cards, from 1959. I think I remember more, but don't have them.

I used to love playing the game. I just cleaned the mildew off of the box and washed all the tiles. The racks are black plastic and are melted, likely from being stored on the top shelf in a closet in a non-airconditioned house in south Florida.

No mail delivery yesterday or today. Double checked with my front cameras. I've had an outgoing package scheduled for pickup through USPS since yesterday. I brought it in at dark both days. I was also expecting mail which hasn't shown up. #USPSDelay

So I'm going to have to make a trip to the post office in the morning. I don't trust it not being picked up a third day in a row, and it needs to be on its way, especially since the PO was closed Sunday and Monday. I'm so tired of the poor service! They're understaffed, but still...

That's a pretty big rat! My neighbor on that side has a garage filled top-to-bottom/side-to-side with boxes of stuff plus a storage pod in the driveway that's also stuffed. He also has stuff stored behind his house, on front porch, and in the driveway.

In the past he hasn't maintained his pool and it was dark green and had grass growing in it. This image shows the pool after he had the nasty taken out, but he's not big on keeping it swimmable. You can also see the junk behind the pool and in the driveway.

Oh, joy. My brand new dishwasher (Bosch) that was just installed on Saturday, already doesn't work. After an hour on the phone, mostly on hold, I got told to call a local appliance repair business. The machine won't power up and the breaker is fine (first thing I checked). #BoschServiceSucks

I just bought a new dishwasher. My current Bosch is 15 years old. It was a good model, but the front wants to rip off when I open it. All the little clips are broken and it's held together with tape. I guess it has hit the end of (or went beyond) the expected life span. #LaborDayApplianceSale
