I already made a post about this, but that was just I quick one I wanted to make as soon as I found out. This hurts, & while he'd probably be the 1st to tell you that he's lucky to have a fraction of Mel Blanc's talent, to me Eric Bauza is the closest we've ever gotten to having a 2nd Mel.

his performances as the Tunes just as much as Mel's. But above all, I felt like Eric was a real champion of the Looney Tunes renaissance that almost happened this decade. Throughout all of its ups & downs, his love for Looney Tunes shined through. Rest in Peace man, you died far too young.

I know this is very Looney Tunes focused & all of him should be celebrated, but that's where I was introduced to his work & its my favorite he did. Hell it was during the lead-up to Looney Tunes Cartoons that I got back into the Tunes. The 1 times he voiced Jerry Mouse & Diddy Kong were cool though.

Most of his voices for the Looney Tunes are my favorite non-Mel performances of the characters. & even the ones that I wasn't fond of at 1st (Porky & Foghorn), he improved significantly later on. Honestly he's 1 of my biggest inspirations for voice acting, I find myself doing impressions of-

The 1989 video game soundtrack poll is now live! The options are starting to widen as Genesis/Mega Drive gets more games and the Game Boy is released! It should be fun to see what will rise to the top with no clear frontrunners. Happy voting! forms.gle/tgYMhzi11ajW...

The time for the next Soundtrack poll has arrived! I want to know your Top 10 Video Game Soundtracks of 1988! This should be a really interesting year, especially with the introduction of the Genesis/Mega Drive in Japan. Good luck voting! forms.gle/9SaKWS9A8wE9...

Stream Schedule for the week! Last week before things start to become SPOOKY, and also the last time I get to play new content in DK Bananza! Finishing off both Chibi-Robo and Street Fighter VI if possible, and tomorrow I've never actually beaten Dream Course! So knockin' that out, too!

Y'know, by the time the next 3D Mario game comes out, Donkey Kong Bananza modding will probably be a thing, which will make me care even less about the prospect of a new 3D Mario.

If I ever got Mega Man Legends 3 but discovered it had Gen AI used in ANY part of the development process, I wouldn’t buy it. Doesn’t matter how good it is. Doesn’t matter how long I’ve waited for it. Zero tolerance. That’s what’s needed from this point on.

Y'know, my father was a truck driver, so he was interested in the movie when he saw that trucks have a prominent role in it, he loved it, some of that definitely rub off to me. His favorite character was Mater, he quoted him while doing an impression of him a lot when being with me back in the day,

I brought my Mater diecast with me in his honor when I watched the movie tonight, teared up a bit when Find Yourself played. I'll never forget this day, & I'll never forget him.

Hi fellas! To celebrate Pixar's Cars rereleasing in theaters this week to commemorate its 20th anniversary, I've decided to take pics of all of the Cars merchandise I own (that I could find) & showcase them in this thread! I’d say 98% of this I got during my childhood.

& that’s everything I could find! I know I had/have even more, christmas ornaments, jigsaw puzzles, water shoes, toy racetracks, you name it, there’s a pretty good chance I at least had it. Pixar’s Cars means the world to me, it’s my favorite piece of media, I am a Big, if not the Biggest Cars Fan.🚗

VERY funny that Mario Kart 8 got an update after Mario Kart World came out & hasn't gotten a major update. (also damn, another middle finger to the time trial community by increasing speed, invalidating all previous time trial records)

OatmealDome 🏳️‍🌈@oatmealdome.bsky.social

[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe] Version 4.0.0 has been released. This update adds Switch 2 features (resolution bump, shorter loading, 5~8 people multiplayer, CameraPlay). It also increases player speed by 1 coin, adds 96 course VS Races, and removes offroad speed loss when using Boo.

I watched Coyote vs. ACME yesterday, It lived up to the hype & then some! Road Runner is my favorite Looney Tune, so it was really nice to see Wile. E & him get such a good spotlight. Fantastic movie that I HIGHLY encourage everyone to go see it regardless if your a veteran Looney Tunes fan or not!

This man asked me before we started "did you mean the feel of the Donkey Kong series or JUST how Donkey Kong should feel?" I stated 'just DK', knowing the amount of yap I could do. I feel as if I underachieved. If you wanna hear me yap for four hours about DK, Hyle was a great sport tolerating me!
