I wonder how many Americans are aware of how Trump is trying to sabatage the election, requiring many people (Thank you, Marc Elias and so many others!) to spend lots ot time filing lawsuits to attempt to prevent actions they are trying to take.

Democracy Docket@democracydocket.com

Several lawsuits have been filed against the Trump administration seeking documentation of any plans to deploy troops or perform unlawful federal operations as the election occurs. Now, a group of Democrats is asking Todd Blanche directly to disclose such plans: https://demdock.com/4zCBGID

Probably good to know what policies your candidate supports, what experience they have, and what they have accomplished in the past. What do other people think are their strengths and weaknesses? And make sure you are checking reliable sources.

🗳️ We would never tell you to use a particular website or tool to research election candidates. But if you - like 20% of voters surveyed - are going to use AI chatbots to help fill out your ballot, you need to pair them with a heavy dose of news literacy. NewsLit tips ⤵️ #Midterms #NewsLiteracy

500 US citizens detained by ICE. Can anyone say how all this detaining and deportation has impacted them in a positive way? Did you or anyone you know get a job they left that pays the bills? Is it easier to get a job now? Prices going down? Do you feel any safer?

ProPublica@propublica.org

NEW: The Trump administration keeps denying and downplaying that immigration agents have been detaining Americans. It’s wrong. We’ve found more than 500 U.S. citizens have been held against their will, including handcuffed or held at gunpoint.

Check your status. Do you know what you need to know about issues & candidates? If not, do some research. League of Women Voters often hold debates. What's important to you? If groups tell you how to vote, don't just follow the crowd. Make sure you know the whole story. Have a voting plan.

"What do we need to do to get flotillas, award-event speeches, constant media attention, increased contributions for aid, & be part of your political platform?" ask the Sudanese, Haitians, Rohingyas, Syrians, Yemenis, Ukrainians, Uyghurs, Central Africans from the Sahel, people from the DRC, etc.

Where were all the people who protest, support flotillas and those giving speeches at award shows? You say you care about Gazans. Doesn't look like it.

Disingenuousness is contagious or maybe influencers see that it doesn't matter. PAL PAC P stands for peace? I hear code words, false narratives, & victim talk. Be honest about all the initiated violence since the 20s. Peace to most isn't the sound, after you've thrown all the Jews in the sea. AIPAC

150,000-400,000 deaths in Sudan conflict, 14 million displaced, 25 million hungry, but no flotillas, no academy awards speeches, no special help for them. Guess they don't have the influencers that convinced you to demonize Israelis defending themselves & AIPAC.

The administration is modeling witch hunts, bullying, smugness, disingenuousity, going for vibe, or unquestioning any claim. Why do we have to copy any of that? What does demonizing Bari Weiss do? Make us feel .... what? So many fires and we have time for this?
