Gibney should just put his doc online for free at this point, fuck it.

hang on, so Bleecker Street was sold to a Pierre Omidyar-backed group that also happens to back Tosca Musk's Passionflix... and now "MUSK" is disappearing from theaters?

David Stearns trading for Freddy Peralta while holding a monkey’s paw: “He is going to absolutely shove in the postseason. Right?”. A single finger goes down on the paw.

Every interview with an ex-SNL cast member is like “I love Lorne! I never knew where I stood with him, felt psychologically manipulated the entire time I was there, and my mental health got to such a bad place that I’ve spent years in therapy just trying to recover. I owe him everything!”

Maybe less documentaries about how Lorne Michaels is a genius and more talk about how he’s mainstreamed dangerous assholes (Andrew Dice Clay, GWB, Trump, etc) for over 40 years.

Fallen Kingdom featured a genetically engendered “super predator” who spent almost the entire film running head-first into walls. It helped me decide to skip all future installments.

J.A. Bayona has emerged as the surprise frontrunner to direct the next Jurassic World movie, having previously directed 2018's Fallen Kingdom. Read more: www.empireonline.com/movies...

It’s bold of the ad agency Manscaped hired for their commercial to cast an actor who looks like if you asked AI to show a composite of “sex offender”.

At the New Beverly waiting for a movie to start, they were playing the theme song from Goldfinger, young woman in my row turned to her companion and asked "who sings this?" and I'm pretty sure they had to call an ambulance because every film bro in the theater snapped his neck around to look at her

I’m no marketing genius, but if you have to put “this product was created using AI” as a warning to the consumer the same way you’d put on a label “this product has been know to cause cancer”, well maybe you have a product that sucks and no one wants.

If I can sidestep all the actual reasons to despise David Ellison for a moment and make an ad hominem attack upon him, he looks like the leader of an evil dirt bike gang in a direct to VHS 80s teen movie. Why would anyone trust this face?

Kit Harington has been cast as Gilderoy Lockhart in Season 2 of the ‘HARRY POTTER’ TV series. Nicholas Hoult has left the series due to scheduling conflicts. (Source: Deadline)

Do I watch House of The Dragon? Yes. It is a good show? I don’t think so? Adhering to the source material is one thing but following up the mistake of trapping your best character in a dank castle for an entire season by trapping your 2nd best character IN THE SAME CASTLE for the whole season sucks

Watched Magical Mystery Tour for the first time since I was 8. A lot, and some would say too much, of Paul McCartney’s filmmaking philosophy boils down to the premise “dwarves are funny”.

I am really enjoying Ring’s new advertising campaign of “here are some grainy videos of a dad getting hit in the groin, hopefully this makes you forget our plan to weaponize your doorbell cameras to deport your neighbors”.

Space X just ripping through Robert Heinlein short story collections, picking sentences at random and publicly announcing them as real things.

A friend asked me what fair value in a trade would be for James Wood. I thought he was talking about Fantasy. Memo to Red Sox fans: the Nationals are not trading James Wood. Stop getting high on your own supply.

Watched Kurosawa’s Dersu Uzala. I’ve always avoided this one because it seemed like it might be a chore. Very stupid of me, Kurasawa could never make a boring movie. Beautiful and in its final act incredibly moving.

I don’t think Roki Sasaki has been great by any stretch, but going 5 and giving up 3 runs is totally fine. They’re talking about him like he’s a Make A Wish kid out there pitching.

These are the same people that when you tell them that Chick Fil A actively gives millions of $$ to the goal of eradicating LGBTQ+ people from the planet respond with "but the chicken tastes so good". Grow a spine.
