Oh hell to the no!!

Seth Abramson@sethabramson.bsky.social

This is a real headline. Are we even a country anymore? It feels like we're descending into a pit of nihilism and cruelty. While after this last weekend I have much more hope that there will be pushback against this—and significant pushback—the threat to our way of life is profound and terrifying.

Wait… so the regime wants to go through the social media posts of people seeking an entry here in the States? We’re next, y’all. The “others” funnel gets narrower until, eventually, it points directly at you.

How about “fuck no!”?

TO RECAP: - they’re snatching innocent people off the streets - they’re deporting people to supermax prisons solely because they have tattoos - they’re using the Signal app (which holds messages temporarily) so evidence of their crimes isn’t found later - Republicans are fine with all this

once again, every accusation is a confession. republicans spent 15 years accusing democrats of winning elections by trading cash for votes. now, here we are.

If you don't want to see this horrible garbage happen in every future high-stakes election, make sure it demonstrably fails in the Wisconsin Supreme Court race by helping elect Susan Crawford

Gomez: "This is an issue that was brought up during Secretary Hegseth's confirmation hearing to the extent that he had to make a promise not to drink if he was confirmed. That's a big deal. I've never had to promise to not drink on that job."

Ummmm… drunk texting…

I’m old enough to remember when Secretary Hegseth tried to publicly mock Judge Reyes—suggesting that she didn’t know what she was doing when it comes to protecting our national security. It was … two days ago.
