After marathoning the bungie Halo games I bought Halo 4 and finished the campaign. I actually like the art direction a lot, and the shooting feels great, but everything else feels super forgettable and they harmed the weapon economy and enemy design quite a bit.

Such a shame that more than 5 years of concept work went nowhere. But as you can see... some of them survived in another form. 😉

Reach is the greatest Halo game of all time. I'd say Halo 2 is on par but Reach's armor customization and fully realized art direction make it appealing to me on another level.

I'm currently brainrotting on Overwatch and I decided to cook up a human version of Ramattra. Love that guy.

This is why Titanfall 2 is the greatest multiplayer shooter of all time, playing the game is just as exciting as the concept. God knows the ways Respawn could've absolutely fucked up the balance and map design but it's so buttery smooth.

This will seem like blasphemy to Final Fantasy fans but for me it's Final Fantasy 10. Tbh I'm not a huge turn based JRPG fan, nor a Final Fantasy fan, but I wasnt feeling the progression and the magic of the world 20 hours in... and maybe I just suck at JRPGs and I did die a lot in the game lol.

Crazy how Overwatch's main story is being told through a webtoon comic series. I won't blame anyone for failing to deliver the PVE campaign for OW2 but honestly the comics and short vids are doing a really good job of actually giving the story some momentum and developing characters.

I have yet to see any piece of media with worldbuilding as cool and interesting as Final Fantasy 16. Medieval fantasy kaiju opera is one hell of a concept.

Ramattra is on my mind 24/7. Gotta be in the top 10 coolest robot characters ever. His voice is actually soothing.
