BREAKING: Bernie Sanders will introduce a bill to have the public take a 50% ownership stake in the country's biggest AI companies. The American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act would have the government tax AI companies, take 50% of the stock, and put it under public control.

In the US, spending on data center construction now exceeds spending on public transportation infrastructure — including airports, marine terminals, and all mass transit. In April alone over $50 billion was spent in data center construction.

This goes for anyone who works for a living: If your annual salary raise is not greater than the rate of inflation, you didn't get a raise. To calculate your "real" raise, subtract the rate of inflation. If it is negative, that tells you how much your company values you so start your job search.
