GOP disinformation isn’t chaos. It’s a playbook. Cambridge Analytica & Atlas Network built it, Project 2025 & GOP runs it. We break down all 9 stages so you can see, name, and fight back. Donations are appreciated. https://ko-fi.com/disinformationplaybook

1/🧵 It’s not dysfunction. It’s design. The GOP uses a ruthless disinformation playbook to confuse, divide, and exhaust the public. They don’t want you informed—they want you disoriented. Here’s how their machine works—and how we expose it. #Voices4Victory #DemVoice1 #USDemocracy #ProudBlue

I am reluctantly accepting that the most effective political conversations are those held in-person, with real family and friends and with real stakes. Others unfollow or reject online. In-person interactions allow us to communicate both care and concern.

If we flip this seat, we can win a majority in the state senate for the first time in years. Don’t forget to vote up and down your ballot folks! Vote Blue! Vote Cooke! Vote Jacobson!

9/ Here's what Hungary, Serbia, and Brazil showed us: turnout matters more than almost anything else in an election. So here's my ask. No matter what else you're doing, get three people to the polls who likely wouldn't have gone, and find one other person to do it with you.

10/ Reach three people. Take one small step. I made a printable card to help you write down your three, plan your first question, and share it with the friend joining you. It's free, with a four-day plan, no signup: dontarguetranslate.com/three-people. Reach the reachable.

7/ When you talk, listen more than you talk. Seventy percent listening, thirty percent talking. Then ask once, after they've shared: "Do you have a plan for how you're voting?" If yes: "What day are you thinking? Do you know where your polling place is? They sometimes change."

8/ Bring one person along. Ask a friend to do this with you, someone who'd enjoy it, not someone you're trying to fix. Check in afterward. If a talk goes sideways, that's okay. The goal is a good question at a good time, and a relationship that's still standing.

5/ Now look at home. In the last presidential election, tens of millions of eligible Americans sat it out, more than voted for either candidate. The biggest group in this country is the one that checked out. They don't need a lecture. They need someone they trust to ask.

6/ So here's a small plan. Pick three people closest to you. Not strangers, not the loudest voice online. People who'd actually pick up your call. Then write one gentle question for each, about something local you both care about. A school budget, a bus route, a clinic closing. Health care cuts.

3/ Brazil is the one to study. In round one, a huge number of people stayed home or spoiled their ballots. Three weeks later, a wave of those same stay-at-homes came back for round two. Brazil had never flipped a runoff before. This time it did, and they were a big reason why.

4/ What brought them back? Not a perfect speech. Supporters passed messages through WhatsApp groups to friends, family, and neighbors, and gave each other small missions. Regular people each pulling a few others along. Researchers there call it central, though no one can prove how much.

2/ Hungary: record turnout. Serbia: record turnout, the highest since Yugoslavia broke up. Both were one-shot elections, one vote and one chance, and people who usually sit it out decided this was the time. Ordinary people, showing up like never before.

The difference is staggering. Obama's speech feels like he's ready to take on another term (and oh how I wish it were possible) Trump's speech feels like nobody could be bothered enough to protect grampa, old & demented, from going on stage. This still the leader you want for your country, MAGA?
