Trying, so hard, to not turn the heat on til November. 😤 Sure, it's The Way in New England to hold out, but this year was also egregiously expensive to fill the oil tank. 3x what it usually is. Be sure to check in on your neighbors this winter. 🩵

I think mermaids are sexually overhyped. A lot of people have never touched a fish with their bare hand and don't know fish are covered with slime. The slime help fish swim and protects it from disease & parasites. I think the moment most dudes touched a mucus-y mermaid boob, they'd be out.

My dad sends me two types of emails - the 'want to go fishing' ones...and the doomer ones. The last email he sent ended with the line: "We need to get ahead of what is coming at us." While I do appreciate his care and concern, I also wish he remembered that I take medication for anxiety.😅

I just had to apologize to my mum, my sis, & my bff for not answering their texts for almost a week because I got so hyper-focused on a new game that I forgot that my phone existed.🙃 It was dead for a whole day, sitting in the kitchen. I'm fun to socialize with when I remember to socialize. Swear.

Writing "wisdom" I hate: WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW. This is the worst advice ever. It would be better if it was KNOW MORE SO YOU CAN WRITE ABOUT IT. Every good writer I know is constantly researching and getting new information and asking experts. It's a terrible bit of advice!

Half of my feed right now are people absolutely riffing on GW's new paint line, and I friggen love it. Also, WILD that they're selling 1 color 5 different ways. Do they think they're solving a problem here? 'Solving' a 'problem' but leaving us with those universally hated paint pots is a Choice.
