It will be a lovely evening of songs, art and literature. There are just a few tickets left. Immense thanks to the brilliant artists, writers and supporters who have supported the project - and of course @yorkshiredales.org.uk

Special day yesterday, celebrating the #PennineWay 60th. I sang about my dad, the dalesman hefted to the hillsides. Great to see how the "Long Green Trail" continues to "inspire and invigorate". @yorkshiredales.org.uk @yorkshirebylines.co.uk @anitasethi.bsky.social @nationaltrailsuk.bsky.social

It was good to chat to BBC York with Dad about our song, Making Memories on the Pennine Way www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

Great article here by @anitasethi.bsky.social the author of the important I Belong Here: a Journey Along the Backbone of Britain. It's an honour to be part of the #TrailofInspiration exhibition with her, celebrating the #PennineWay @yorkshiredales.org.uk

Stream still available until 10PM tomorrow (Fri 10th Jan): Three Idle Women's Boaty Boy was played by Mark Radcliffe on The Folk Show last month. Their harmonies sound lovely (as do Kris Drever and friends). Proud to have recorded it. Listen here: tinyurl.com/3bym44b8

Thanks @yorksbylines.bsky.social for this nice write-up about my and Dad's song about us and the #PennineWay. #Yorkshire #folkmusic #newmusic #yorkshiredales

This is simply gorgeous. Thanks Ben's Dad for caring for our paths.

I made a song and video about where I grew up, on the Pennine Way. With a cameo from dad, who maintained the path for a living. It was quite emotional making it; I hope you like it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpvM... #yorkshiredales #pennineway #malhamdale #hiking #penyghent @yorksbylines.bsky.social

Now here's an enjoyable selection of music, including some lovely rarities from Nick Drake and family. Honoured to have a song played in such inspiring company.

Captions anyone? #bluesky
