The thing about calling your game "World of Warcraft: Forever" is you can't ever shut down the servers, because what do you mean you're discontinuing something called "World of Warcraft: Forever"

How insulting. Twitch thinks a chatbot knows better than you. If there's any meaningful utility for LLM technology, it's practically washed away by the fever pitch madness on display at these companies desperately trying to justify injecting this into everything. Completely unserious people.

Twitch is testing an AI Stream Coach. Stream Coach will give you personalized feedback after every stream on what you did well and what you can improve. It will also recommend ways to better engage your community, learn Twitch culture, and use monetization tools.

every day i desperately wish for either the complete removal of steam reviews or at the very least disconnection from the discovery algorithm. tying subjective personal review (with zero rules or regulation) to how many people see and buy your game is fucking insanity

The Steam review system has become entirely destructive and counter-productive for indie devs. I've seen so many great games lately tanked by one bad review from someone who just didn't "vibe" with the game and couldn't keep quiet. Only takes 1 bad one on launch day to ruin years of work!

X dot com is just full of dudes excitedly posting about how for just $200 dollars in tokens, AI can make a much worse version of their favorite game. Men need hobbies!

GTA VI looks very polished with a lot of activities. I wonder how the game is structured, how do missions play and how does the story unfold? How much emergent gameplay is there? I feel like this is where Rockstar needs to innovate, not just through aesthetics or content but the design itself

I don't need AI to personalize anything for me. I already do that by being myself! We need LESS personalization online, honestly, ESPECIALLY via AI and algorithm! I don't walk into a library wanting it catered to my taste profile. I want to browse and discover independent of any influence.

Whenever a company surveys me, the number 1 thing I tell them is talk to people like they're normal. No one likes hearing a script full of nonsense. For that matter, no one likes being surveyed! What the FUCK do you mean I'm getting surveys between Fortnite matches?? It drives a person mad

My favorite Windows 11 moment is when I am pasting text into notepad - just a handful of characters - and it freezes for a second. I never tire of Microsoft's innovations

How many of your own businesses do you have to close before you're considered utterly incompetent and undeserving of operating as a company? Whatever that number is, in the case of Microsoft, they have surely surpassed it tenfold

StarCraft II had a new patch for the first time in a year and the changes are pretty drastic. Some guy on Reddit is upset, equating it to patching Chess after 1000 years. I think it's more like if you patched StarCraft II after 1 year, but that's just me

My true PB is 50:00.1, which I achieved three years ago. A blunder at the end separated me from the 49. I am back to the grind to right my wrongs.

America is unbelievably washed but I've enjoyed the videos from all the World Cup tourists having a nice time. I'm glad people can still come to my country and enjoy themselves, even though we aren't especially deserving of it

I'm back to speedrunning Vice City in a quest to achieve the fabled 49:XX, and I'm inching ever closer
