I’m no manager but if the brewers had gone psycho mode and let miz pitch the 12th just now this would’ve been a done deal

watching everyone in a boston townie bar absolutely lose it over this in real time is an elite-tier (non-sox) baseball memory. enemy of my enemy etc.

This post is unavailable.

idk if it’s weird to be really into have heart despite being very much not straight edge but the music transcends, those records make me wanna both fight god and become a better person

"Look how they massacred my boy" is an iconic line spoken by Vito Corleone (played by Marlon Brando) in the 1972 crime film The Godfather. He says it while grieving over the bullet-riddled body of his oldest son, Sonny Corleone and asks the mortician to make him look presentable for his mother.

been too busy or depressed this month to do much observing of the season which I remedied by seeing “the devils” by myself tonight

the Milwaukee Brewers play baseball differently from the other 29 teams in the sport They've never won anything They're named after beer Easiest bandwagon hop ever

Here's the football season plan for Sports! The Newsletter, the free & good newsletter about sports Sunday — newsletter about Saturday's CFB games Monday — newsletter about Sunday's NFL games Thursday or Friday: roundup of cool things in every other sport in the world Did I mention it's free

I had somehow never seen “the town” prior to tonight and I cannot believe no one ever told me that’s a movie where don draper and ben affleck have a shootout under the fenway grandstand

it’s go phillies tonight I guess. my grief-clouded-or-informed predictions from here are white sox to the world series over the rays, dodgers don’t repeat, padres or brewers win it all.

we had to put our cat down this morning and in the broader context of horrible things this series doesn’t matter in the slightest, but I really wanted this one.

wish they looked a little more inspiring the past couple weeks but the sox officially clinching a postseason spot still feels huge. the first couple months of this season really were *that* bad.

anyway last regular season game of the year for me on tuesday, which will make it 20 even at fenway. I am invested in this a normal amount.

exited the 90-minute ecstatic-totalism-noise-rock set greeted by the phrase “trevor story go-ahead 3-run homer”…sometimes life is beautiful

lowkey very annoying that whenever I splurge on buying portra it immediately feels worth it when I start scanning. I don't need motivation to buy $17/roll film, I'm going broke enough shooting ultramax

someone puked a couple aisles behind me at fenway tonight which was honestly a reasonable reaction to the first couple innings of that game

It's not the only reason he fucking sucks but all my Massachusetts homies love and support trans people and rightwing Democrats can eat shit with this losing strategy.

No. Fuck him and fuck you. archive.is/VzNSy

excited that it's finally primary day so I can stop being confronted with seth moulton's desperate loser energy every time I look at a TV

allston dive bar scene truly remains unmatched. deeply weird local music bill at the sil dart room on a monday night while an adjacent TV inexplicably cycles midseason NFL stats from last year -> model will still make you a stellar bar pizza at 11pm

Man even the dumbest fucking piece of shit bird is so cool to watch. Some random shithead of birds. All the other birds know he sucks. But he can still fly and look at our asses down here.

man I know it made sense when we traded him, but 8 shutout innings against the dodgers really makes you wish the sox still had sale

Others have said it previously, but I love how this promotional image from the 1990 Stephen King's IT looks like a prestige drama courtroom show, that just so also happens to involve a clown.

RIP to genuine real one dolly parton. being in the photo pit for her surprise golden hour newport set some years ago still an all-time surreal festival moment
