I saw Chun-Li on the big screen and it was wonderful. Also Vega. I loved Orville Peck as the character. I just wish I’d seen more of the tournament of the fighting tournament movie. Anyway. I’m probably gonna draw some SF characters cause I’ve loved Street Fighter since I played 2 on the SNES.

Still thinking about Ken Russel’s The Devils. It was crazy awesome. The sets, the costumes, the acting. All perfection. Themes of love and eroticism are hyper present. The fact we never see Father Grandier make love to Madeline but his sexual promiscuity is clear elsewhere is interesting.

I really liked the movie. I’d never seen it before so going in blind I didn’t know what to expect. I mean, I knew more about the historical event than the movie itself but even then I only knew about the nuns getting all crazy wild and horny and blaming the devil.

I’m definitely gonna add this Blu-ray to my collection when it’s released.

Grandier is no saint, he sleeps with women and doesn’t have to face the same consequences that they do when one of the women becomes pregnant. But he’s also not evil, he’s more pious than the folks who pin him as a consort of the devil even after Sister Jeanne tries to recant her accusations.

Okay turns out it just the whole app now??

I figured out how to fix it. Idk why nothing else was working. But I put on a show that only had an English audio track and it finally got the other shows out of the locked in Japanese track they were on. Now I can listen to my shows while I draw again.

I worked at a call center for Nordstrom for all of a week. Didn’t make it out of training. On top of being overwhelmed by the 14 different software/ order tools etc, I was training on a call and the coworker I was working with escalated on me without warning me. And it sent me into a panic attack.

More context: I had worked at Nintendos call center not too long before that and I had a guy threatening to shoot children and blow up Activisions HQ over children cheating at… Call of Duty. On the Wii. 🤦‍♀️ I only just started the job and it affected me so bad I still can’t handle angry phone calls

My lower back is so fucked.

This little kitty came out of the bushes screaming at us for pets on our morning walk. She’s super skinny her tail is almost entirely bones. We tried to get her to eat some wet food but just wanted pets. We took her to the Tacoma Humane Society.

She hopped into the carrier without a problem. She’s so skinny and there’s a lot of community cats in the neighborhood that I assumed she is a stray or lost. The shelter scanned for a chip but nothing came up. I’m hoping they can get her some fluids and food and adopted quick.

Our apartment is really small so we couldn’t foster her with both Hazel and Clover in the house. Anyone who adopts her will be so lucky.

The English dub file had subtitles on it no matter the caption settings and they didn’t match what the English actors were saying but not in the brevity kind of way for hard of hearing cc. And now the English audio file won’t play English. It’s Japanese. Though the setting says it’s in English??

I’d say around 10 to 12. I was experimenting with fashion styles and watching a ton of anime. I had a few friends but most of them didn’t want much if any anime. I was drawing all the time and I stopped going outside for recess. I’d go into the library to draw.

I haven’t watched V for Vendetta in probably close to 20 years, definitely since before I read the comic, and wowzers I’ve got some thoughts.

Having a contract job without a hard end date based on a single project is so nerve wracking. I asked my project manager “hey my contract ended last Friday [but I still have projects I’m working on]. Would you like me to ask the staffing agency to extend my contract to the end of the year?”
