Had an amazing evening last night with a house show in my unfinished new house, 5 musical acts and a MAGICIAN and CAKE!

Nearly done... Instead of the form of the ORGTOBER DAY EIGHTEEN I've been using, I'm "painting" one to fit the style. I like that signatures on these sorts of paintings are often a bit incongruously ugly and slapdash, so I went for that too.

Now I'm experimenting with type and styles. I'm certain I'll end up with a serif, but a sans looks okay, admittedly. This is Sturkopf Grotesk, a geometric poster face, which I think works well.

Then I'm making it redder and more contrasty, and starting to stamp brush clone away the people in the boat.

Halfway through #ORGTOBER and I've done a vibey Cyberpunk style collage thing Very much not my normal style, but turned out pretty good I think THEORETICAL THREADS It's a suit that's part software, part myth, and is either extraordinarily good or basically non existent... #morktober #MÖRKTOBER

Just used the nifty Shawn the Beachy plugin to bring back coloured icons in Affinity. Love this software, but the UX from the monochrome change was a mess github.com/ShawnTheBeac...

We're pretty behind, but no one cares cos #MORKTOBER is super chill. Here's day 10 or 9 or whatever: THE OFFICE STANDARD. Enjoyed doing more crosshathed textures and stuff. This is a mix of analog and digital, and the perspective on that table sucks but oh well.

I really like the idea of players starting new factions or armies or whatever and having office pitched battles. The core book has sea battles thanks to @zacgoins.bsky.social and @limithron.bsky.social in general (although it's important we remember that Luke contributed NOTHING to MORK ORG)
