Forgot to post last night, but loved going to @beyondvideo.bsky.social and seeing how slammed it was by people getting physical media in preparation for the snow storm. It was fun seeing so many people browsing together! Excited to settle into stuff that's been on my list, plus new finds!

Save the dang dates and get quite excited!

Proud of my fellow Baltimore film nerds for their demonstrable good taste.

Behold Beyond Video’s Top SIX SEVEN rentals of 2025! It’s sublime how many gems rise to the top when people can choose from everything under one roof, rather than the false siloes created by corporate streaming services! For instance, peep the rankings for SOUNDTRACK TO A COUP D’ETAT and RED ROOMS!

Celebrate safe, sleep in, and come see us 3-9pm on 1/1/26! 🥳

Big thanks to Alex Winter for sharing his incredible film taste with us at Beyond. He's been such a friend to the Baltimore cinephile scene for years. And if you think Bill S. Preston, Esq. doesn't know his Mizoguchi deep cuts, you are gravely mistaken! cc: @alexwinter.com @beyondvideo.bsky.social
