Here's my rough animation reel for MW Ep. 6: Monkey Mind! Having permission to pick up the pencil and animate frame-by-frame feels like a dream come true. Thank you to @zeurel.bsky.social for letting us work on such a cool show! Please check out the links below. #monkeywrench #indieanimation

A little side by side comparison of a scene from ep 6; Storyboards / Roughs / Clean up & Comp. It's always fun to do these after an ep is birthed. #monkeywrench #indieanimation

If roughly 1000 more people who watches Monkey Wrench donates to just the $2 a month teir the show would get what it need to continue with the current quality

Honestly, after such a long and costly development time on ep 6, if we can't get our support up to at least $15k a month on patreon we're gonna have to switch to animatic format with the fights animated inbetween. I can't afford an ep like that again lol.

We just picked up a lil tube TV and finished setting up the PS2. Looking forward to the arc where I put my modern consoles in deep storage, where every company has ended all the live service and I can just play my modest library of absolute gems until I’m 80, living happy the rest of my days

To clarify: it still operates, but the disk sensor can’t detect the tray is closed unless you push down on the top slightly. We thought we’d solved it by stacking some books on that corner, but it lost the signal to the tv after about 5 minutes. I gotta check on the other consoles now

Anyone with even a passing interest in indie animation has GOT to check out Monkey Wrench! Not only is it lavishly animated with an absolute banger of a soundtrack, it’s got super fascinating worldbuilding and a really strong emotional core at its center. Plus it’s funny as hell. CHECK! IT! OUT!

Here's a thread of some of isolated sound design I did for Nuts in #monkeywrench ep 6! Being a mechanical man, all of his movement sounds are a combination of servos from a DeWalt drill of mine, some rattly metal for footsteps, and a little bit of squish. Just a little. #indieanimation

Steven Rigsby🎙VA + Sound@stevenrigsby.com

🚨 I'm proud to announce that I play Nuts in the new episode of Monkey Wrench! I also have the privilege to do all of his sound design, which was an absolute BLAST. Go check it out!!! #monkeywrench #indieanimation #voiceacting
