Excited to finally share this project I worked on! @netlify.com is not immune to the... Cambrian explosion: millions of projects are now created each month. But 93% aren't on GitHub, or GitLab, or any forge(!) Turns out git is really useful. So, we hosted our own: www.netlify.com/blog/how-we-....

Open models are now on Netlify. The AI Gateway gives you access to hundreds of open models through OpenRouter with the same zero-config setup you already use, and Agent Runners now include OpenCode for running open coding models like GLM 5.2 and Kimi 3. The four principles of AX (according to @biilmann.blog): 1. Access - how can an agent get access to your product? Includes discovery, onboarding, and agency (are they autonomous or do they require any authorization?) 🧵

Your users are lying to you. Matt Biilmann (@biilmann.blog), co-founder and CEO at @netlify.com, says users will always tell you your product is "really cool" after you show it to them. But if they don't try to use your tool after you've sat down and walked them through it, you have a problem. 1/3

👀 I have achieved continuous deployment to @netlify.com from @tangled.org. Add a workflow like so: tangled.org/philippeserh... Add site ID + Netlify PAT: tangled.org/philippeserh... ☑️ PR → deploy preview ☑️ Push to main → deploy to prod Deploy URLs tucked away in pipeline logs, but it's a start.

Hot damn! Have been on Netlify post static buckets (10+ years ago?)... as tooling (and the world) has changed, there are so many doors opening in the "a frontender can do it all" reality... I've mentally fathomed a few presentations about this, the pieces all being in one place is integral to that!

AI can make teams smaller and roadmaps faster. That's the least interesting part. AI should help us be more ambitious and push the boundaries of what we build. I'm using Agent Runners to do fun, quirky things on my blog, that would never have been viable pre-AI. biilmann.blog/articles/ai-...

biilmann.blogAI and AmbitionAI isn't just about efficiency—it's about unlocking ambition. Small experiments on a personal blog reveal how AI agents let us push ideas further and build things we'd never have time for.

Given some of the news lately, if anyone was unsure where Netlify stands, here it is. 👉 Your code and content is yours. We won't sell it. We won't train models on it. We've updated our policy to remove any ambiguity.

Netlify@netlify.com

We just removed seat-based pricing from Netlify. Pro was $20 + $20 per seat. Now it's $20/month. Unlimited seats. 🧵
