Trump is such a loser he couldn’t beat Iran with the strongest military in the world. But we knew that, didn’t we? He bankrupted casinos 🤦‍♂️

He expects reimbursement for damage he caused. To successfully invoke the 25th ("involuntary declaration," s.4) , you need a majority of the cabinet and the VP. If by Congress vote, 2/3 maj req'd. I sense the pressure is mounting. Dude is el loco.

The White House is demolishing the entirety of the historic East Wing to make way for Trump’s $200 million ballroom, a construction project that is far more extensive than he initially let on. In "What Works in Community News," Ellen Clegg and I examine about a dozen independent local news outlets in nine parts of the country. We hope it will inspire folks who live in news deserts to take their information needs into their own hands. #journalism #localnews

The Rundown@therundowntvo.bsky.social

On a segment called Friendly Fire, @revmichaelcoren.bsky.social and Irshad Manji fiercely debated hot topics on Studio 2 with @spaikin.bsky.social. With career changes and political lines crossed, what has the duo learned over the last 30 years?

UK coming around to the importance of incentivizing #whistleblowers for coming forward. Some people are uncertain about it, but the U.S. experience demonstrates clearly that payments to whistleblowers, who have a hard road and don't necessarily prevail, are returned to taxpayers many times over.

Whistleblower Partners@whistleblower.law

@maryinman.bsky.social was featured in today’s @financialtimes.com on whether UK #whistleblowers should be financially rewarded. She calls it a chance for the UK to “leapfrog” the US as priorities shift. A must-read on #law, whistleblower protections & accountability.
