honestly a big part of why i love siren is because it's so strangely satisfying sifting through the link navigator between missions lol. i love the CLUNK sound every time you choose a mission.... it does give this feeling like you're sifting through old investigative records

i'm glad they kinda kept the spirit of it in slitterhead with the inter-mission screen. it was much easier to navigate, but it still had such a unique vibe (especially thanks to yamaoka's music)

been thinking, since messmer's crusade evidently didn't start until around godfrey's exile, i wonder if marika simply trusted that the jar ritual was a necessary evil, just as was becoming a god to absorb all contrivances...

likewise, miquella trusts that sacrifices must be made in order to perfect oneself and become a proper god. as does ranni, and even melina... i imagine marika was willing to accept her fellow shamans' sacrifices even if it pained her, so long as she could establish Order
