I like how chill they are when they are in sleepy mode, you can walk up and get some pretty close snaps of them and they don't seem to mind much

here's a snap I have of a European Starling in that very same dead palm tree, taken a few weeks ago (the Starlings are always in that palm tree)

Painted Bunting and his mate just showed up while I was on a work call, I gasped and my coworker was like what, you saw a bird? 😭

Migration's fast at our park. All the Yellow-throated Warblers seem to be gone, replaced by Palm Warblers. Counted nearly about 20 of their very noticeable yellow bottoms, but only one Cape May and one Northern Parula among the mix. #birds Also, with Vegas am now at 27 new lifers since Oct 1st 😅

I screwed up, that last one is a Blackpoll Warbler, not a cape May. I got my photos mixed up!!😭 It was a new lifer for me though!

I also got closer at getting a good snap of the Banded Kingfisher. It flies all around our lake and only stops briefly, every week I get progressively closer to her That tree was also full of very large camouflaged iguanas

interesting to me how bluesky's overly zealous content filters censors things like shirtless homer simpson as adult content but a video of a trans woman getting brutally beaten on the street is not a problem and i don't get as much as a warning for graphic content
