Seems that I'm seeing many calls to tax the churches. If we tax the churches they will have a good rationale for claiming the right to donate to politicians and PACs. Imagine the mega-churches having exponentially more power over politics. I believe these calls are secretly paid for by the churches.

My response to these calls is don't tax the churches, if they're not acting like a church have them declared entertainment businesses and tax them as such. This way you get the tax boost sometimes, you get to point out the un-church like activities and are able to restrain activist churches.
