Attention all bands, artists, producers and whatnot. I'm planning on producing a riff on old school MTV type of show featuring music videos of independent artists. So have music videos or want to contribute in the visuals or voice over lemme know.

I am taking my second consecutive spiky day* in a row to say: fuck these fucking idiots. *I am contractually allowed five (5) spiky days per calendar year to rail at idiots.

I still don't really understand what's going on in Dark Matter, I think it's beside the point at this point, but: a) Margo Martindale is such a fabulous, understated actress b) it's somehow veered from a weird, thriller-y plot to a meditation on love the universe, and everything

Apocryphal story: back in '96 or so, when I was in a punk band, I was on holiday with my gf and a friend of hers who worked for Sony Music. We were on a beach in the south of France and this other girl, learning that I was in a moderately good, locally known band with street cred, went:

"Oh maybe we should send someone from A&R to go see you guys" and my immediate response was "Nah, we good. If you want to come, I'll put you on the list any time, but absolutely zero interest in getting signed by Sony". The look on her face was pretty priceless in itself. Zero ragrets.

I don't even consider myself a musician, yet I've somehow been making music for 40 years now. It *is* all about the serendipitous journey from a blank slate to something you've created yourself, something you've put yourself into. However imperfectly or unsatisfactorily, but it now exists.

Well, if it’s 30 September, it must be... oh God. The 36th anniversary of the first—and, you may not be entirely surprised to hear—only transmission of a sitcom which was genuinely called ‘Heil Honey, I’m Home’, in which Hitler and Eva Braun live next door to Jewish couple Arny and Rosa Goldenstein

I'm apparently an extreme layering trendsetter. Mostly because my current working definition of a "wild night out" is walking the dog in sub-zero temps.

Men’s designers proposed extremely layered looks — shirts on top of shirts, socks on top of socks — on the fall runways.

Excellent work.

When he got home and realised it was missing, he logged onto his banking app to cancel his cards, only to discover that, within the last hour he had received four payments of £0.01 each into his account. In the Ref. field for each one was: "Found your" "Wallet in street" "Call me on" "07xxx xxxxxx"

Is anyone else watching Dark Matter? I don't really understand what's going on any longer. I have absolutely no idea which Jason is which* by now, but shit, the latest episode hit me hard anyway. *That's basically fine, considering the premise.

Can’t believe no one has ever thought of the idea of selling us hot food. I, for one, am both excited and, if I’m honest, a little apprehensive about the idea of warm food. www.ft.com/content/bdb6... Subway rival bets hot sandwiches will sell in UK’s ‘cold and rain’
