While we're on the topic, I am also prepared to declare the following as major terrorist organizations: - The Snorks - Klinger from MASH - Militaires Sans Frontières - Asian Dawn - the camera head guys from skibidi toilet - "Roy's Boys" - Banjo (but not Kazooie) - Every Weezer album post-Pinkerton

It really is so striking how much The Discourse operates untethered from…what we actually know. The killer is still at large! We have no idea who did it! Seems pretty important to get that sorted.

The Associated Press said in a court filing on Wednesday that the Trump administration had defied a federal judge’s order requiring the administration to restore the wire service’s full access to the White House.

Tomorrow’s going to be a good stress test of the press. El Salvadoran President Bukele will visit the White House. At the press availability, every Q ought to be about Abrego Garcia: where is he now? Did US ask you to return him? etc. WH will hate, maybe try to prevent, so all should band together.

Idiot is just playing with the stock market at this point. Whatever credibility the U.S. had is toast. And we're still playing chicken with China...

🚨 BREAKING: Trump PAUSES most tariffs for 90 days amid economic turmoil. He adds that he has authorized a "substantially lowered reciprocal tariff during this period, of 10%." Trump also says he is increasing tariffs on China to 125%.

Just a legal historian here reminding everyone that “high crimes and misdemeanors” do not need to be felonies. They can include political abuses and stupidity, like, hypothetically, destroying the economy and wiping out people’s savings in 3 days.

Go Senator Booker! At least somebody is standing up and saying it!

Senator Booker: What kind of man is in the white house that makes fun of the disabled, who lies so much that the fact checkers lose count, that minimizes the pain and the suffering

If Trump can disappear green card holders for protesting war, he can disappear you. If he can disappear visa holders for criticizing him, he can disappear you. If he can disappear asylum seekers for tattoos, he can disappear you. We must speak out now — before there is no one left to speak out.

All these Maga folks lining up, excited to hand over their money to the government. Won't pay a penny for Universal Healthcare or quality education, but will empty their pockets for Daddy Trump to give tax breaks to the rich.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

White House aide Peter Navarro claimed Sunday that President Donald Trump’s new tariffs would raise more than $6 trillion in federal revenue over the next decade, a figure that experts said would almost certainly represent the largest peacetime tax hike in modern U.S. history.

My home state just making life harder for it's most vulnerable. I'm sure they'll still allow "release time" in public schools to skirt separation of church and state though.

A new law in Utah allows only approved flags — including the U.S. flag, the state's flag and military flags — to be displayed in schools and government buildings. The Pride flag and those supporting political causes will be barred. nyti.ms/43wfFP6

There is no moral equivalence between bullies and the bullied, between tyranny and democracy, or between brutality and decency. No individual can be free in a society devoid of justice. There can be no liberty where brutality reigns.

Someday I hope I get to vote for her for President... assuming we can still vote.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez@aoc.bsky.social

We will not be distracted. We will not be discouraged. We’ve got our eyes on the prize. And we will build the prosperous, free nation for all that we deserve. The time to organize is now. OcasioCortez.com

Trying to keep up with all of the overreach and assault on our Nation by Trump and his merry band of losers is a full time job. How is the average person supposed to sift through and absorb it all? We need Schoolhouse Rock now more than ever... Write me a catchy jingle about defying judicial orders.

Call your Representative and your Senators. Go to their office hours. Send physical mail. Tell them that we will not stand idly by and watch Elon and Trump diamantle our country and loot it for parts. If they won't stand up, we'll make sure to find someone who will.

House Republicans just voted to rob 72 million Americans of their Medicaid coverage to give tax cuts to the rich. 😤 Give your House Reps a CALL BACK to let them know how you feel about their vote. 👉 5calls.org/issue/budget...

Funny how Republicans care so much about sex trafficking when its a pizza place but are strangely silent when one of their own actually did the things they claim are abhorrent.

MeidasTouch@meidastouch.com

The public still deserves to see the Matt Gaetz report. The Republican Party is covering up alleged child sex trafficking. Release. The. Report.

Empathy is sorely lacking these days. In a world more connected than ever by technology, we've chosen to other-ise each other. It's easy to hate on someone when they're a post on Facebook instead of a neighbor at the grocery store. We need to rebuild our communities and ember empathy into our DNA.

Are you kidding me with this shit, @washingtonpost.com? Top of the website headline, multiple stories, an editorial board piece and SIX goddamn columnists all had to weigh in about this?

The incoming administration has nominated a gang of sexual predators, vindictive psychopaths and utter incompetents to be the presidential cabinet and the Washington Post has gone full-court-press on the Hunter Biden pardon. Our political media is deeply, deeply broken.

You are up to date.
