I'm very excited to announce v2 of Sports is live, just in time for the end of the World Series! This is a major update, but the headlines are: • Support for the NFL, NCAA Football, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and UCL. • New UI with favorites, top stories, standings, and highlights!

Finally, my favorite piece: Highlights! These are videos from across Bluesky that were posted during the game, in chronological order, and with deduplication to remove repeat highlights. You can watch as the game unfolds, and pickup wherever you left off.

And one final announcement: I've started work on the Sportsky app! This will be a social media app built on Bluesky, entirely dedicated to sports. It will include all of the above, and a lot more I have planned. You can follow that project @sidelineapp.bsky.social.

Sports now opens to a new home page with your favorite teams, with top posts and stories about those teams from across the network!

Each league's page has been redesigned, and now shows both games and standings! Tapping on any team takes you to a feed for that game, built in @graze.social, to follow along in real time.

Does anyone have any connections at Apple? Both @getskyscraper.com and @heron.social are getting App Store rejections for being copycats. The way this is being applied essentially bans 3rd party clients, which I doubt is intentional.

v3.30.0 of Boost Blue is live! Starting with the fun stuff: You can now customize the look of posts with square avatars and a range of name layout options.

I spent the weekend building out European football support in Boost Sports. Here's a preview of the new UI, highlighting the Premier League.

Read Position is now supported for Feeds with v3.28.0! This has been one of Boost Blue's most popular features, and I'm excited to finally bring it to Feeds. Premium users can turn it on in Feed Settings. Any Feed that returns posts in chronological order will remember where you left off.
