I knew going into the job market that it was a rough time, but experiencing it is something else. I've applied to 2-3 jobs every day for 2 months, and only had 2 companies get back to me.

The first didn't know their own tech stack. I had to tell them that their job listing was completely inaccurate, and that I didn't have any experience with the technology they actually used.

I just had my second, which lasted under 3 minutes. They lead with their compensation package being 2/3rds what I was asking (which is basically just the average for this area and my experience).

There’s a user on here complaining about how bad the Bluesky iPad update is because it “looks like Boost Blue.” The similarity being that they both have iPad friendly layouts. Anyway, just proof that you can’t please everyone.
