Another week, another Susan Collins pay-for-play scandal. Susan Collins owes Maine taxpayers an apology. But more than that, we deserve a change November 3rd.

WATCH: Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you really should watch and share this excellent news story. Ford LIES that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data. Remember and share this as Ford tears out Toronto bike-lanes.

toronto.citynews.caAnnex businesses tell Ford to back off Bloor bike lanesStores in the Annex say the Bloor bike lanes have been a big boost to business. As Michelle Mackey reports, the neighborhood's BIA wants the province to back off its new bill that could see the lanes removed.

I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

OP-ED: “Removing Toronto's bike lanes puts children's health at risk.” Actually, well documented evidence shows that EVERYONE is put at risk. And it costs EVERYONE. “The Ford government decision to tear up bike-lanes is bad for kids, families, cyclists, drivers, taxpayers & the planet.” And more.

Watch out for the disc golfers.

@boswoolguy.bsky.social One guess where we are … Here to see Matt’s friend in the band VERTICAL HORIZON. Last time we were here for the same reason!

Oddly not a particularly green outcome supporting car delivery

New York Attorney General Letitia James@newyorkstateag.bsky.social

Last year, my office secured nearly $17 million from DoorDash after they cheated delivery workers out of their hard-earned pay.   I'm proud to see @mayor.nyc.gov has secured this major win from DoorDash for underpaid delivery workers in New York City.

NEW INFO: Iran has inflicted devastating losses to U.S. installations across the Middle East—much more than had been previously disclosed.

It’s more like 25-1 odds or more cars break laws while a lot of apparent bike faux pas are generally meant to avoid contact with cars.

Thanks. We will have a meeting of all the cyclists to discuss this.

And how many cars have hit his car? Odds are WAY HIGHER they’ve been in more than one accident (statistically). Blaming one rider is a bit of a canard.

The War on Cars@thewaroncars.bsky.social

What is this "irresponsible cycling community" and who issues the membership cards? Is there a community of irresponsible drivers? No one is disputing that it's annoying and sometimes dangerous for a cyclist to ride on a sidewalk. What people are taking issue with is collective blame.

The car in front has been parked in front of Monterey Market for days on end (see accumulated leaves in the previous photo). The white van behind it has been parked there for 15 years (seriously; see Google Maps Street View). But no, it's the bike lane that's wrong.

Cyclists were the primary force behind organized political pressure for better, paved roads before the arrival of cars and drivers. Drivers now think they own the road and oppose safe infrastructure for all other road users. What if tanks started using roads and were crushing cars and people?
