Managed to find some old external floppy drives cheap on eBay. They’re odd mechanically. The disk goes in on a platform and the whole top assembly pulls down with the door. Not seen ones like that before.

Also, the older I get the more sensitive my edgelord radar is becoming. If people start sentences with “of course, you would think that because” or “that’s a typical of &alignment” I instantly mute them and do everything I can to walk away. I am in my 50s, settle down dickhead.

Kinda bored with people criticising the BBC. They’re mostly a force for good, and there are many different BBCs. People that pick at BBCnews are the reason why BBCnews is the way it is now. They’re having to walk a tightrope all the time and that feeds back into people’s negative image of them.

Cams has a small lump at the root of her tail. We had it checked and the vet said it’s just “a weird fat lump” which also describes Cams.

It’s still weird for me when I’m around magpies. My brain goes BIRD! I kiss him head! Come back! I speak magpie! Listen, I’m cool, I have peanuts and probably something shiny in my pocket. And yer actual magpies don’t want any of that nonsense.

I am amazed that I can’t just put a Blu-ray disc into the Blu-ray drive in my Windows 11 computer and have it just play the disc.

Y’know what, I suck at wood work, but I ended up successfully sinking the joystick into the control panel for my arcade machine, and with some trim around the edges, you can’t spot the inept warcrimes that lurk underneath.
