After a few hours of practice I think I like HackerRank better than LeetCode. It has a better editor with actual TypeScript support, and a more well rounded set of problems including data structure, algorithms, backend APIs, and frontend React.

If you're writing E2E tests against a real database, how do you handle tests that run in parallel? Test assertions can become inaccurate based on when other tests have modified data.

Do you treat the database as append only? And each tests operates on it's own data? Or do you do something crazy like use a different database instance for each test? Or just run the tests in series and track what changes have been made prior?

If you were building an app that required email, which email service would you use? What about if you didn't want to use an email service? How would you approach it then?
