but the point wasn't about users.. it's interesting to see that some people intuitively understand what's bad about (to phrase it more precisely than the original tweet) _elements having kilobyte-scale classNames_. it's not about gzip/class caching/network tab

so what was the point, then? well. if you don't get it.. not gonna even try at this juncture to overcome the twitter-rage defending tw. if you make great products with tailwind: genuine thumbsup to you, seriously. keep shippin. but maybe also take a peek at what you ship?

furthermore, @vercel.com is owed an apology. the point was more about tailwind than v0 - but clearly people didn't take it that way. Vercel obvi makes top tier user experiences. period. and as the peanut gallery did a great job of illustrating, users probably aren't affected much.

livestream reminder: the full technical deep dive on the Doom in #typescript types codebase is happening tomorrow at 1pm Eastern with Dillon Mulroy hosting. let us know if there's anything specific you'd like to have covered!

🤔 what if we normalize apps embedding in-depth in-context docs that (if expanded) teach the concepts.... but with the user's own data? new (pretty chunky) page just landed in today's TypeSlayer release:

⚔️introducing TypeSlayer⚔️ A #typescript type performance benchmarking and analysis tool. A summation of everything learned from the benchmarking required to make the Doom project happen. It's got MCP support, Perfetto, Speedscope, Treemap, duplicate package detection, and more.

If someone in the TypeScript world wants to really drive the point home, a way would be to open checker.ts and checker.go next to each other and show how similar they are. It's uncanny. This was the right move.
