Being perfectly honest, I didn’t love Bluesky when I first joined. Credit where it is due, the platform developers have done a great job at building out features and capabilities. I’ve been excited about other platforms that fizzled out, so I’m hesitant to get too excited… but, I dunno, maybe?

It's been asked why #NoDemUnder1k and not 5k? Or 10k? Literally anyone on here can find 1,000 like minded people to interact with in a literally a day or two. The time and effort it would take for everyone to connect with 5k-10k isn't something most people will do, or even want, but some will.
