🚀 Polar Signals is Joining Dash0! 🧊 I could not be more excited to bring continuous profiling to even more companies as well as take our database and make it the best foundation it can be for all of Observability! www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...
Flamecharts combined with distributed tracing correlation is such an amazing feature! I love inspecting eg. queries that customers run on Polar Signals this way to see if the query is properly utilizing all cores uninterrupted!
🔥Flame charts are now GA for all CPU profiles on Polar Signals Cloud. X-axis = wall-clock time, so periodic GC, phase shifts, and lock contention show up as patterns instead of getting averaged out. www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...

We have an open position for a student worker on the Firefox Networking team in Germany. We work on the full stack, from high level HTTP all the way down to TCP / UDP. Some C++, some Rust. Help us fight for an open internet for everyone. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/careers/position/gh/8068406/

The Polar Signals profiler got a major upgrade. New dashboard, and everything is faster and smoother 🚀 We can’t wait for you to try it out! Here's what's new and how we did it: www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...

Less context, better answers. 🔥 The new @polarsignals.com MCP makes smaller, more effective tool calls and iterates on what's actually worth querying. www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...
Super excited to be experimenting with GPU-accelerated query execution (starting with decoding data on-GPU). We're still learning, but this is very exciting!
Two of our favorite things on the blog today: 1) Experimenting with cutting-edge GPU-accelerated columnar storage. 🚀 2) Dogfooding our GPU Profiler. 📊 Let us know what you think! www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...

Ever wondered how a profiler knows which JavaScript function is hot when V8 compiles your code three different ways? Brennan went deep on unwinding and symbolizing V8 stacks across Sparkplug, Maglev, and TurboFan. The detective work behind every flame graph. 🔥 www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...
Today we're launching the missing piece for GPU profiling in open source. The team has really outdone themselves in this one!
🚀 Launching today: GPU PC sampling in production. Instruction-level profiling telling you why and where warps stall. Whether it is memory latency, scoreboard waits, or barriers. 🧊 Previously NSight-only territory. Now running in prod with low overhead. www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...
We care *deeply* (pun intended) about producing the highest quality data for our customers. Incomplete stacks are never great, check out this super fascinating write-up from Tommy on how we vastly improved unwinding of deep python stacks.
New Blog Alert! Learn how we overcame eBPF limits to unwind deeply nested PyTorch training stacks and learned some cools things along the way: www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...
Our new website was created by our friends at pixelpoint.io, highly recommend working with them, they did a phenomenal job! Let me know if you want an intro! polarsignals.com
Really excited about what Polar Signals Cloud can do in a world where more and more code is written by LLMs. Give the LLMs the context they deserve! Also: Check out our new slick website!
🤖Using Polar Signals Cloud and Claude Code to autonomously optimize your code every day! 📈 Also: Check out our new website! What do you think? www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...

I wrote about our team’s code review norms, which I am grateful are deeply human.
A coworker disappearing into a cave and coming back with 12,000 lines of code you have to review is cause for a heart attack. But, how do you handle the ever-increasing volume of code reviews? Our engineering team wrote down how we navigate code reviews at Oblique: oblique.security/blog/how-obl...

We've been working on a major schema migration at @polarsignals.com that has unlocked some pretty wild improvements. Apart from a 50% (!!) reduction in storage size thanks to logical compression in vortex.dev, there has been a dramatic improvement in query performance.
Hey @anthropic.com, hear me out: Multi-player claude code sessions. Sharing the same claude code session with my team.
TypeScript users can now enjoy Polar Signals Cloud to the fullest as well!
Tired of Node.js flamecharts full of `a`, `m`, and `_0x3f2`? We just shipped source maps support for Node.js profiles in Polar Signals Cloud. Just add a plugin to your build pipeline, and your profiles show the real code. Know more: www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...

🚀 Introducing the Polar Signals VS Code extension! See CPU time, memory allocations, and more as inline annotations, right next to your code. Works with Polar Signals Cloud and self-hosted Parca. www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...
This one has been a long time coming, excited to finally have shipped it!
🔐 With a growing number of customers and more diverse customers, came the need for a more flexible authorization system that can represent any organization. That's what we're shipping today. Check it out on the blog! 🧊 www.polarsignals.com/blog/posts/2...
There has been a really exciting movement in Kubernetes to actually acknowledge datacenter topology, and I don't see enough people talking about it. This one might seem small, but it opens up possibilities for applications needing to care about network topology. kubernetes.io/blog/2025/12...
