The worst part about owing an 86 is that you just want to keep finding more excuses to post a photo of the thing Anyway

Google Gemini is so good 👍👍👍 It can definitely do mathematics that a 5 year old would be capable of 👍👍👍 AI is the future 👍👍👍

Feeling very blessed that I have a podcast with mates in which we can talk about horse racing for an hour. What a life, what a life!

Even virtual horse racing has its fanbase of entitled YouTubers making ragebait. Who knew? 'STOP DEFENDING THIS' My brother in Christ, who IS defending this?

Oct 19th: Star Wars Battlefront 3 'leaks' and storms the headlines Oct 20th: The return of the long-dormant 'Fight Night' franchise is plastered across EA social media channels Oct 21st: Reports break that EA is sacking 400 employees; including the closure of studios like Bioware. Nice try EA.

BioWare statement

The funniest thing about Microsoft is that they're simultaneously the worst part about console gaming and also the worst part about PC gaming. Heading into next gen they're going to step both of those accolades up a gear as they continue to rinse the remaining 6 Game Pass subscribers to oblivion.

I'm really enjoying Galactic Racer but I miss the days when AG racing games had depth to the gameplay mechanics and physics beyond 'LOOK HOW FAST WE'RE GOING'. Basically, yes, I miss WipEout - as that's one of the only franchises that actually did this and didn't rely on speed alone.

Yahoo Mail has now added streaks, achievements, and badges to its app. An EMAIL APP has added gamification. Who is this for??

Danielle casually scoring one of the best goals I've ever seen on Rematch last night. Can a game be GOTY 2 years in a row?

Listen, I've played far too much Burnout in my life to resist the allure and urge of driving up the Laughing Cow Wedgemobile at 100MPH on sight.

I've now beaten all 4 Part 1s in Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave. It took 60 hours. SIXTY HOURS. And there's still 2 parts to go?? The size of this game is absolutely insane.

Add pints to my list of quickly growing alcoholic content intolerance as I get older. Had 5 yesterday and it sent me to the moon.

To anyone who needs to read this... Yes, your AI video thumbnail is shit; absolutely shit. Even if you think it doesn't look like AI, it does, and it looks absolutely fucking crap. 👍

Fire Emblem and Rematch have derailed my efforts a bit; but I will be returning to this in time to conclude the playthroughs by the end of the year. 3 more titles until l consider my rankings complete: Sonic Rush Sonic Rush Adventure Sonic Pocket Adventure (as recommended by the TX team)

Quite a lot of games here now; so I've started separating by tier.

I know I could do the other Master System/GG games but they're all the same, basically. And Sonic Superstars can fuck off

Biggest change that I can recall is PES3 getting kicked for Rematch. That was a tough decision but it's just the best football game of all time even with recent patch struggles before Season 5.

25 hours with Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave so far and the only real thought I have about it is that it might be the biggest and most expansive game Nintendo has ever made. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing because it fits a recurring theme of their tentpole releases recently...

Does Fire Emblem need to be that? Not a chance. The real longevity of the series (and Advance Wars; god rest your soul) came from the varied and dynamic combat systems that allowed every playthrough to be tackled in a different way. I wager 99% of players will complete FW once and not look back.

All that said; Intelligent Systems are still right up there as one of my favourite devs but I just can't stand Atlas RPG systems finding their way into a SRPG of all things.

Nintendo have been massively prioritising scale recently across all their main franchises, seemingly in an attempt to make the games more of a 'forever' style game that means they don't have to release more than one per generation. I just don't think they're actually that good at it.

FW is a humongous leaning tower of systems upon systems where the actual combat feels like a side task to the menial Persona-style bull that started to work its way into FE from 3H. Add in 4 entire separate pathways of playing the game and to truly see it through it's a 120+ hour experience!!

Doing a deep clean of the house and I've found an unopened copy of Pokémon Alpha Sapphire buried deep into my wardrobe despite already having an opened copy in my 3DS this very second???? I am confused.

I believe they call that button the 'play' button on your DVD player that allows you to watch movies. jfc.

God, I love Rocket League. (I have 110 hours on Switch, 60 hours on Xbox, and 300 hours on PS4 too😮‍💨)

My Pixel 9 Pro has reached the age where it inexplicably starts shitting the bed when it has to execute strenuous tasks such as: - Looking at a photo gallery - Browsing websites on Chrome - Screen-in-Screening YouTube - Typing on the keyboard Android ain't the saviour iOS haters say it is.

Honestly, the enshittification of mobile phones is probably one of the biggest scams of all time. £800+ devices which start wanking themselves into oblivion after 28 or so months and we just hit a '👍' and line up for the next one.

I think that Princess Diana's Ford Escort RS Turbo is the exact type of car that Kaz would love to have in Gran Turismo and would definitely include for the vibes alone. He should do it some time.

Also! I don't know if anyone else has realised, but the Xbox acquisition of Activision is slowly becoming the Activision acquisition of Xbox They got paid $75.4b to give their games a very brief Game Pass-inclusive window and gifted the Halo IP, Age of Empires and all of Rare's IP lmfaoooo

Imagine telling somebody back in 2012 that Playground Games and Forza Horizon would get so popular that it would devour and kill the parent studio and the mainline Forza Motorsport series (most likely).

Maybe though, this is what Forza needs? Real chance to merge the traditional CARPG gameplay loop with the flexibility of Horizon for a Driveclub style game that ticks both boxes. I know, I'm dreaming.

Playing horse racing games for the next episode of Time Extend and I feel like it has unlocked an entire genre of game I didn't even know existed. Also, they're very hard.

Sonic The Hedgehog (Master System/Game Gear). A quick diversion before the DS era. This actually surprised me a bit! Plays more like a Mario title than a Sonic title but with tighter physics and arguably more fun level design. Quite unforgiving but just the right length at around ~1 hour. 6/10
