Thanks for everyone who came up to me at LBX about the tutorial zine I made these for. Gonna redo it while using it as an opportunity to do vis dev for my project Mythic and kind of 2 and 1 it!
"what was your biggest impact on the internet?"
It's either this Fortnite comic or Todd Howard Persona, something I still see in the wild from time to time. I'm kinda glad I never continued the Fortnite comic given how much Epic is pushing AI these days.
2d animation for the best Sonic boost game 😎❤️
( I made a new sonic character design for the animation )
Happy 35th sonic anniversary @sega.jp 🥰

I really wanna draw little comics or interactions with my OCs, but whenever I have an idea for one, come time to execute, my brain just shuts off completely.
Maybe I should try my hand at another daily sketch run soon. I've always been bad about posting art, now more than ever because of AI scraping, but I really just wanna put stuff out there again regardless.
Love watching youtube tutorials on how to make music and it's obvious the person in the video has never made music in whatever genre the video is covering.
Took me almost 80 hours but I finally reached the timeskip in Fortune's Weave and holy hell I wasn't expecting them to hit me with map functions and quests that make it obvious I'mma be here for another 20 hours. 😭
anyway heres a lil cyndaquil gjinka i never posted for an art challenge thingy i wanted to do while playing through heartgold last year. my hospital stay put a stop to it, but i might come back and do it for real someday!

I am technically a game dev, but haven't made the game I wanted as a kid and honestly my current game ideas tend to be commentaries on childhood dreams. Second dream was being a manga artist, something I lack the focus for.
I was all in on my first game idea. I planned to start making it by my mid to late 20s and making it a 10-game saga covering two worlds and the MC's son and deceased mentor and was completely fine with the idea that I'd be working on nothing but it until I was in my 60s and retired.
The sooner you realise you dont know half the shit you thought you did the sooner you you'll improve. So many artists are making things harder on themselves because they think they cant get things from their head onto the page when in reality the stuff isnt even in your head in the first place
Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.
OoT's Forest Temple strictly because of the combination of the Wall Master's growing shadow, the sound effect, and music. Terrified me beyond belief and yet I could do the Shadow Temple, Beneath The Well, and all of Majora's Mask no problem. Had to have my friend beat the Forest Temple for me. :x
Thank you so much for the love with Witch Fujousama!! My friends and I have been joking about her for a while now while I workshopped her design so I'm super elated she's been received well!
Since the previous illustration was more of an extreme perspective, wanted to try another of Manang in general- she's fun to draw!
Check out Forgotten Island- it's out in theaters now~

I've been working on this classic witch design idea in the background for like a month or two based off a stupid joke I made with friends and it's been awful so far and I just might've injected my brain with the right amount of brainrot to get ideas running again.
Was losing my mind prior to stepping on the scale after letting myself go these last two months, but seeing I was nearly 6 lbs under where I thought I was is a nice little surprise. Got myself a whiteboard to mark progress... I just gotta lock in for 4 months.
Have a super bad habit of anytime I see my weight drop below 230lbs I feel like I should reward myself, but fail to keep myself in check and just gain the weight back over 2 months, so hoping having something in my face every day to track progress will help keep me going.
The need to output faster anime dubs to capitalize on a show's popularity has largely led to an increase in more faithful and accurate localizations and I'm sick of it. Need more insane bullshit like Trunks calling 13 a "Red Ribbon Redneck"

I really enjoyed playing this. hope we get another one
I occasionally check in on Twitter for work and shitposts and decided to glance at the main page tabs for a few days and MAN I'd never felt so debilitated over how defeated some artists on there feel over AI's progression in replicating stylized CG animation. Don't think I'll revisit it again soon.
Making games and art may be frustrating but it's also so rewarding when it all comes together. It's easy to forget that when all you do is doomscroll. Now if I could just get my family to shut up about how much they think I should use AI to code my games.
