THE Rosalía as a featured artist? What a treat, I audibly gasped on the subway yesterday when I saw it in the track list. I love when I am exactly the target audience for something

I was almost 10 years old when Obama was first elected. Watching media from this era, as an adult now, is wild. The cultural archetypes that Jack Donaghy and Liz Lemon each represent are completely extinct. Moderate Republicans are just no longer a group of people who exist in any meaningful way.

These people see a group of Deliveroo drivers chatting to each other in Arabic or Kurdish as they simply wait outside a restaurant to pick up their orders and get nervous. Or scream something awful at them. This is all racist brainrot and I am so tired of people like this being taken seriously.

All had handful of HUGE hits throughout the 2010s and the first few years of the 2020s, but somehow failed to truly solidify mainstream presence until THAT album. Tinashe and Charli are especially similar - both have either been writing for or inspiring other artists the whole time.

I say this as someone who follows pop music and culture pretty actively - I have never heard that Sam Fender/Olivia Dean song beyond a snippet. I am completely fine being in my own particular taste bubble, actually.

Take this with a pinch of salt as both myself and my partner are white, but I must say the reputation of the Snobby Parisian is entirely unwarranted. Everyone we encountered was polite and kind to us, even though neither of us speak French. They are used to visitors!

“One had enrolled in clown school.” You couldn’t make it up.

This goes hand in hand with the lack of access to trans healthcare. It’s the same issue. Culture wars based on emotional sensationalism rather than actual evidence are dictating access to healthcare.

I was so tempted to say to him “why don’t you stop living?” but that would’ve done nothing but escalate the situation and endanger myself.

It’s really exhausting being someone who tries their best to not be a fucking cancer on the peace and wellbeing of strangers when others just don’t care at all about anyone or anything around them
