The older generation of artist who made it really relish being the ones to pull the ladder up for anyone else to make it anywhere in the art world.

If I was a freelance New Yorker illustrator, learning the art director was really good at using Claude would be a red flag

I fucked up and spooked a good half dozen Blue Jays that were pecking the shit out of the bush outside my bedroom window. I wanted to get a picture. It was pretty cool though, never saw so many at once in one spot

So I did this recently. For a local wrestler named Bam Sullivan. Over time he’s going to release them all but is having a hard time deciding which to do first. So he’s running votes on other platforms

EA's closure of BioWare is transparently a vile move to shutter the studio that made by far their queerest titles. In the wake of this, I implore you: MAKE MORE QUEER ART. Make it trans. Make it horny. Make it scary. Make it loving. Make it with every inch of yourself. Flood the world with it!

You never know what spooky shit they vibe coded in there, could be anything and everything bad. No way is that shit not calling home to share your personal info

knockoff software is making headlines, so i would like to remind everyone not to download software from publishers you don’t trust. even if it’s going viral. especially if it’s going viral.

Private equity and now predatory AI companies. Making goals unrealistic so they have an excuse to liquidate and churn people out so they can get a bonus no matter what at the end of the year. The industry is a dead mall.

I got hired by BioWare in 2024 (I think) to make a huge rainbow foil poster for their webshop and it sold out in 24 hours. I think someone even got their poster signed by the voice actor who played Solas which was so cool. I’m sad for those who lost their jobs, it’s such a beloved studio

My wife really loved a lot of what BioWare made, she’s gutted to see what happened. I just hope the people let go find new employment soon. It sucks to dedicate that kind of time to then start over. Now the world is forced AI and absolute slopping of everything, I hope that bubble bursts

Bioware was my first "dream studio" and one of the reasons I joined the game industry. Seeing them gone makes me feel a bit of an orphan, especially as Baldur's Gate 2 and Mass Effect 2 remain among my favourite games ever.

When Musk took over Twitter, the Guardian asked me for a piece. I wrote about how Musk, Trump and Putin would form an anti-democratic alliance and it would take popular civil resistance to topple them. They didn’t publish the piece. Anyway:

Seems this app is going full on into AI shit after criticizing Twitter for it, abandoning its AI stance. But only telling people on Twitter like folks here wouldn’t find out. Shameful really. I wanted this to be a thing, instead I feel more isolated with zero traction on anything I do.

Finally the fallen tree in my backyard gets removed today. There’s an overall larger job but I can only afford the main removal. Of course getting everything else done, it’d be cool if there were some gigs I can do

I miss doing the work I did in wrestling, although so peripheral it felt for a minute I had friends and peers. Almost like I mattered for a minute. I miss talking to workers and getting in their heads as I crafted merch and whatever they needed. I miss the collective and collaboration

I MEAN

Sean T. Collins@seantcollins.com

Pac had the most beautiful finisher in wrestling, and for a long time he had a look & vibe I would describe as "underwear goblin." Though he was as good as literally any leading-man wrestler on earth, he excelled as a character actor in the ring. He was a fixture of my wrestling life. I'll miss him.

I know I don’t talk about wrestling a lot here, or much at all for a while. It’s a bit of an open wound for me. Tonight though I learned of the passing of PAC, who just wrestled yesterday is gutting. Man was so talented. I’ve been a fan since NXT. Too young. Far too young.

I accidentally bought two copies of Super Mario Wonder off eBay. I was tired from not sleeping for two days and remembered I lost the cart, so I went on eBay to score one. I look today, I bought 2. So who wants one?

Seems I kicked the hornets nest on Twitter. I spoke up to some pro AI shit to refute their dumb shit. Every bot, sycophant, slop lover and some weirdo racist people descended upon me. I’m a gate keeper, my art sucks, I should off myself on repeat. At this point, keep your slop, choke on it

Also had to consult someone on getting rid of fallen trees in my backyard. So I need to work out the financial for that, they quoted me a grand. So if you have any project you need an artist for, please hit me up.
