I don't want email summaries I don't want youtube video summaries I don't want search summaries I don't want anything made by a water-guzzling liar and thief with no mind, soul, or bigger purpose other than making everything around me worse, uglier and warmer. No amount of pop ups will convince me!

"When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace." A quote typically attributed to Jimi Hendrix, but moreso Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone (1809-1898) This is positive and no one was hurt. I'm good with it. 👍

The schoolbus! It’s gaining on us! If only this Ferrari could go faster! To all the young people who complain about things not making sense in movies: Yeah. We never noticed. Because it was 1988 and we had the collective IQ of a toaster. Good times. 😎

Someone out there decided it would be a good idea to put a German Shepherd in charge of babysitting a bunch of Doberman puppies and they were 100% correct

I don't care for the comparison of factory workers who were replaced by machines to artists who were replaced with AI. Factory workers are just doing redundant tasks in return for a paycheck. If they lose their jobs, they can simply go perform redundant tasks in return for money somewhere else.

An artist is not the same kind of person. They can't just go do something else for a living. Creating art is not their job, it's who they are, it's how they make sense of their experience of life. Art is not just "some job" they lost. It's literally what keeps them alive.

As someone who's tried to create an elegant, lightweight sine function within Reaktor Core, I'm actually very impressed that this is even possible just with bezier splines. Sure, there' a few lower-order harmonics clunking around at (checks notes) -80dB? That's actually pretty remarkable. #zebra3

Enough flagships. Swiss Army knife synths were appealing back in the “noughties” but they lost their appeal at some point. These days I prefer a synth that’s super dialled in on something very specific and doesn’t punch me in the face with option paralysis.

Just finished the Stranger Things finale. No spoilers here. Just deep joy and gratitude for the Duffer Bros. As a child of the 80s, I feel like this show was made just for me. 🥹

Every 2 or 3 years I give Netflix my money for a show that probably should've ended a long time ago, and I'm once again reminded that it's literally the only Netflix property that I care about. That show will end in just a few hours. Good luck in 2026, Netflix. You're gonna need it. 🫡

Part of me says "give it a chance and watch it before criticizing it". Another part of me has gotten the closure I wanted from Endgame and said my goodbyes. I don't need fan service. I enjoyed 10 years of these movies and I've moved on.

The new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday reveals Chris Evans will return as Steve Rogers in the film and we'd rather he didn't.

Finished season 1 last night. It’s very good but doesn’t seem to have found its sea legs yet. Hopefully season 2 will drill a bit deeper into these characters. It has a lot of potential.

If you need something to put some wind in your sails, Lost in Starlight is a nice little love story that reminds me of those mid-budget movies in the 90s that brighten your day a little. ❤️

What a nice surprise. South Korean animated film Lost in Starlight (2025) is a pure love story, born from the encounter between an aspiring astronaut who dreams of going to Mars and a musician in a fairly realistic 2050s setting. It's beautiful, as is the animation, and it's a bit of a tearjerker. 😁

I can already see Jimmy Fallon's "mannequin hands" skit of Sam Altman's GTP-5 lecture in my mind. "GPT-5 told me this is how hand gestures work." Why are billionaires aliens? 😂
