Let me be the first to congratulate the Seattle Mariners on being eliminated from playoff contention. Their season is effectively done. Thank god it's finally over. Easily the most disappointing and infuriating Mariners season I've ever experienced, and that's saying something.

one week until Sprawl Zero!!!! :D i genuinely think it's about to be a mega banger speedrun. i'm booting up the demo on the regular just to mess around with the movement, it's so fun. shoutout @bloodthunder.tv for putting me on. at SGDQ he said this run was abt to be "generational" & i think i agree

and this is only the tip of the iceberg with this game. you can easily launch of ramped geo, there's a ton of damage boosts, + million other things left to discover i'm sure. Despite not having any wallrun mechanics this is the most Titanfall feeling game since Titanfall imo

i had to specifically move my crouch bind off of CTRL bc otherwise with the intermittent W taps the game feels *too* much like titanfall. my muscle memory takes over and next thing i know i'm trying to tap strafe everywhere LOL

crouching + pressing forward in the air initiates a "dive" mechanic which gives a small speed boost that can be chained into bhop sequences, and there's no cap on how much speed it gives you, so you can keep diving in these sequences to gain speed. doing a diagonal dive gives even more speed.

in these bhop sequences you need to briefly press WA or WD + crouch, as well as compensate for the diagonal impulse you get from the dive. this is a short clip but these long bhop strings with dives dispersed through them are so fun.
