Over 36,000 Americans died from car crashes in 2025, but thankfully Sean is focused on all the hard-hitting transportation issues of our time…like whether or not your car has *checks notes* a power button.

Sean Duffy: "You know the stop/start button on your car? I hate that thing. Thank you Lee Zeldin! He's gotten rid of it and the first cars without the stop/start button are rolling off the line."

Governor JB Pritzker, welcome to The War on Cars.

Governor JB Pritzker@govpritzker.illinois.gov

We need to stop prioritizing parking lots over people. Today, I assembled a roundtable to discuss our Building Up Illinois Developments Plan — and the consensus was that we need to act fast. Looking forward to passing it and getting to work in our neighborhoods.

It is a choice to do this on Election Day and a choice to do it during a record cold snap. It is also a choice to do it at all.

The sweep has begun, and residents and their supporters have been kicked out of the park area that houses many residents. DFFS, the parks department, and Chicago Police Department are present. Removals are now taking place.

This year, giant corporations and dark money groups are zeroing in on transportation in Illinois, which means we need to fight for transportation champs at every level of government. Join us in the fight for better transportation champs!

✅ Karina Villa is running to be the next Illinois State Comptroller. She understands that budgets are moral documents, and that the failings of our transportation systems have direct impacts on working people. She’ll use her position to advocate for investing in the systems our communities deserve.
