Digger was SO good. It had so much to say - right down to the design based on a world ruined by AI (it’s as unsettling as it sounds) and the fact that it’s bombing and audiences aren’t flocking to see it, ironically, feeds into the narrative like it was planned. It will be popular in 25 years 😉

Everyone under the age of 20 has grown up with webcomics being mostly for free. (Patreon subscribers are all older with credit cards, yes?) Newly built apartments in cities are increasingly tiny with no room for ’stuff’ so… Digital is no doubt the future. Am I wrong in seeing a potential problem?

Morning play around with markers. It’s been years! Some of the brush tips were crystalline mutant shapes, ink leeched and frozen. (Cheap brand. Copics were fine.) Anyway. Not everyone hates seaweed!

The family saw Supergirl on Monday night. It was SO so great! Granted, it was Monday night, but we were the ONLY three in the theatre. The poster out front had been vandalized. It might be summer but the snowflakes are raging.

I have struggled for a long time to just sit and draw, specially by hand after switching to digital. Yesterday was inspiring. Cons are great. Time to fill a sketchbook. (Guess how many times I double tapped my pencil? And resisted the eraser!) 😅
