We’re striking because we know our rights. Management has tried to stop us from telling our co-workers about our rights, but we won’t slow down. While our bosses lobby against us statewide, in the coming days we’re getting out the vote for pro-worker candidates who support our movement.

Watch until the end to see how everyone inside reacted 👀Starbucks is failing their workers, from management all the way to corporate. The only way we'll actually change this company is by showing them we have power in numbers.

Recently, KFC/Taco Bell workers organized a strike in California due to extreme heat. In the 9 years we’ve been working at this store, the AC has never worked or never been turned on, and the thermostat on the wall always reads 84 degrees no matter what the temperature feels like! Enough is enough!

Although it's only October, El Nino has prompted a statewide emergency declaration across the state. This is the first heat strike this far into the year. The outside temperature broke 90 degrees this month, and that’s not even including the humidity which can make the heat feel even worse!

One of our co-workers was working at the steamer where we make tortillas when her head started hurting and she started feeling nauseous. She told the manager that she felt like she was going to throw up from the heat but the manager just laughed. Our bosses won’t be laughing now.

Management is supposed to take action to protect us from heat illness. It’s the law. We’ve never been trained on heat illness prevention. The most we’ve been able to do is bring in our own cooling devices, open the door, and around a year ago, the older manager brought a sprayer, which left us wet.

Recently Carl's Jr. workers organized a strike after a pregnant coworker of ours had her hours cut due to refusing to work for free! There's also massive wage theft at this store, and she's filing a claim for $14,000+ in back wages and penalties. #MoneyPowerRespect #UnionsForAll

Management at this store has been making our coworker work unpaid after the end of her shift and cheating her out of my paid sick leave and breaks. When she stood up for herself and said she didn’t want to keep working for free, management retaliated, cutting 2 days from her schedule.

This #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we recognize Indigenous organizers, caregivers, educators & leaders who have powered movements for justice for years. This work isn’t history — it’s happening right now. And as rights, culture, and truth face ongoing attacks, we stand united. 💜

Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a time to celebrate those who first called this land home. America’s unions honor the many indigenous communities and cultures that have contributed to the story of the labor movement, and we recognize the struggles and tragedies they have endured.

**STRIKE AT WENDY'S AFTER WORKER SUFFERED CONCUSSION DUE TO MANAGEMENT ATTACK** Recently our members organized a strike against physical violence, threats, and verbal abuse from managers due to multiple instances of such issues at the store. #MoneyPowerRespect #UnionsForAll

After a disagreement about serving rotten lettuce, one of our members had her head slammed in the freezer door by management. This led to a concussion, but due to not being informed of her available workers compensation, she returned to work which did not improve her condition.
