On the Weekly Show with @jonstewart, @PeteButtigieg reminds us tariffs are tied to the real priority for Trump & Republicans: Tax Cuts for the rich Income from tariffs (aka taxes on us) *offsets* revenue the government loses when they slash trillions in tax cuts for the top.

We must stop ascribing any positive motives to trump, muskrat and the MAGA GOP. We have to realize they are ok dismantling our government, killing our citizens, destabilizing the world, destroying our environment. To them, it’s a power and ego trip. This realization should guide our responses.
